Mostly down again today but hit this to get most of it back. Heading out of beer in the next 40 minutes or so to return the rental car. Bittersweet because it’s amazing to get a premium quad on the first draw I couldn’t pull a kicker.

Good luck for today. Let's steer this ship around by getting on a heater.

Also I didn't know South Point had their buffet open. Let us know how that is.

No crazy photo finish to this race. I was blitzing through hands at the end hoping to get one last hit but nothing noteworthy came through for me. It’s shocking how many times I got AAA on the first draw again today and missed every single time. It’s really those situations that make or break you.

Ended up being a losing trip but I had a very good time. I’m not sure I’d come back again without fully operable poker rooms, restaurants and shows as I’m actually not a huge gambler in general.

As far as South Point buffet I found it fairly mediocre. I just wanted to spend my points. Nothing stood out to me as being above average. I much prefer the Orleans buffet at the same price point assuming it reopens with the same quality.

Thanks for following along folks. Was fun! I’m grabbing a bite at the airport before my flight at the moment.

What were the decent dishes at the buffet? I looked into it and the unlimited bloody mary's sound good for a breakfast deal.

Also I have a question on SP comping VP players. I seen a few others here who like SP for their VP comps. Do they comp you open calendar rooms with any credits as a VP player? If so I might have to add it for a few days on my trips.

Thank you again for sharing and will be rooting for your payback next trip.

Thanks for the report! Any closing thoughts on poker in Vegas right now? Glad you enjoyed the Sky Suites.

Nothing was good or bad at the buffet. Just edible. It was sustenance. Clean setup and whatnot so I’d eat there again if I needed a bite but it would only be a choice by convenience.

Not sure about SP comps as this is my first time putting in play there. If I don’t get offers from them then I’m guessing nobody does. I put in almost 70,000 points between just yesterday and today!

I didn’t end up playing a lot but the 5-handed tourney at the South Point was boring as all get out to me. The cash game at Aria felt a bit subdued but it was only one table. 6-handed was ok, I don’t mind it because I’m pretty aggressive preflop/post flop anyway. I’ve never had an issue with thinning the field on any size table. I never took the opportunity to play in more games but I’ve heard they’re pretty juicy right now since it’s mostly degens playing. The older crowd tend to shy away from casinos right now so I think that naturally makes the games skew a bit looser.

If it makes you feel any better, you are not going crazy. Too many times to count I have played 5 play, and a few times 10 play, been DEALT 3 aces and not ONE 4th Ace has popped up. Other hands I hold one good card and the other 3 with a kicker fill in. The misses on this game can be so painful, especially when playing DDB or TDB, my favorite.

    Enjoying your report very much!

I was wondering. I think the water areas in spas will be the last spaces to open. I know at Wynncore you can get some treatments but I am not sure if you actually get them in the spa itself verses the salon. Your post is reminding me to check.

Nice report. A volatile game creates a volatile trip. It is why they call it gambling. Thanks for sharing.
