As I sit waiting for my flight I thought I would try this I have benefited and enjoyed so many others trip reports I have to attempt. Tahoe!!! Omg not till after 4pm today with travel

4 nights Harrahs Tahoe.
3 nights Venetian
1 night Cosmo
We are just slot players so bar thing doesn’t bother us. Rented a car both places so easy travel. We have been wearing masks since early on so pretty used to it. All except 2 young girls in twenties sitting here waiting for plane masked up. So excited for Tahoe. We used to go every October till we had a care package arrive in July after a trip 28years ago! [emoji6]

Harrahs/Harvey's Tahoe is my home casino. I live about 2 hours away. We were there for both re-opening days and love the staff on both sides. We hope to get back there in August. Ate at Friday's Station in June and Hell's Kitchen a few weeks ago. Both were fabulous. Enjoy your trip!

Finally made it to Harrahs Tahoe! Car rental easy breezy at Alamo. $177 Ride was beautiful but holy cow the cars parked on the sides of the road as you hit the lake! Never have I seen that before. Like festival overflow parking at your typical summer activity or fest. Most no masks[emoji20]. We had reservations but heard there was only one room left! Room is large and adequate but road weary. I will try to add some pics to see if I can do it. Grabbed Starbucks and waiting for engineering as the safe doesn’t work. Time to rest till the fix it man comes and explore!

 

Following along! Glad you made it safely. I don’t know Tahoe hotels that well, is that a “base” room? If so, that’s impressively spacious. I’ve heard they have two bathrooms too, if I remember correctly.

Sounds great, fun , fun, fun, win enjoy following your TR.

 

Just a standard room I think but two bathrooms. Floating in the casinos and decent drink service and good but not excellent mask wearing. Mostly the younger ones are the rule breakers. Slots are playing at least better than usual at home

 

Calling it a night at 10. 2 hour time difference is rough the first day and tomorrow we are off to Virginia City in the morning. Bought fat burgers for dinner and ate up in the room. I know it’s ok to off mask when eating but it’s just a little awkward and it seemed safer. Pretty crowded here and the other casinos. Outside was crowded as well with groups in front of the hard rock Skinny scooters everywhere and I had no idea they had headlights. Scared the hell out of me in the dark Donated and caught back the same $50 all night playing slots so that was ok. Husband donated more than he caught back lol
Room- heads up ladies as no shower cap Or magnifying mirror in the bathroom Bed and pillows seem comfy so not all bad

Played like crazy this morning! Lucky to double my daily envelope and stuffed it in the safe. Now on to Virginia city. Looking at all the scenery makes me so happy! Fun start to day
