    My Trip Report

20200722_174603.jpg Flight from Indy on Spirit completely full; masks worn mostly by all and when down reminded by flight attendants.

Picked up rental car-Budget (10 days mid size $230 with Costco discount). Had fast break so in car and out of airport in less than 15 minutes.

Stopped at Walmart for snacks/water for drip drop. Got to Flamingo and did valet with no hassle. Went to guest services to pick up new Diamond card. Did this through Founders for $99 for year. Previously platinum. Have five days comped in king Go room with strip view. Had requested a room with tub as wrecked my acl about two months ago and feels good to soak. First room king bad view and no tub...second room two queens but tub and post pict of view.
Had dinner at Virgils BBQ on Linq promanade. Good brisket but potato salad excellent! And I am a snob about that!
    Cruising around checking out things...observations:
    1. Masks fully in use-90%.
    2. Perfect amount of people for me.
    3. All seem to be observing distance when don't they quickly apologize and move if you back up.

Tomorrow pool and BJ....let me know if there are specific requests to look at something. First ever solo and only second trip ever. Hopefully doing trip report correctly.
Got card and says Diamond plus? Is this different than just Diamond?

Plus gets you into a laurel lounge without having to use points vs regular diamond that have to use 1000 Reward credits to get in

Following along! Definitely interested in what the pool atmosphere is like and how long the wait is, we are hoping to spend a lot of time at the pool!

Make that 1,000 RCs. IMHO, $100.00 would be WWWWWAAAAAYYYY too much for any Laurel Lounge.

I’ve got a Solo, Downtown then Strip trip starting this Sunday (3 nights at Four Queens then 4 nights at Wynn) flying out of Columbus on Spirit. Very much looking forward to your trip report and observations. Have fun!

Have a great time! I love the Flamingo’s remodeled rooms. I want to love the Plaza but I don’t get offers from them yet lol. Enjoy!

That's a great view from the room. I didn't realize that Flamingo had rooms with a view of the fountain. I might have to talk my wife into that.

Since you are by the BJ tables, any updates on craps minimums and Ultimate Texas Holdem minimums are great appreciated!

Good luck and hope you have a good time!

Plaza has that summer special on website includes food comps, free play and upgrade on room. Not sure what the dates are...I love the Plaza!

I will check that today for you! I stalked this room...so you want 24 floor and above and anywhere from 54-60 room number.

Pool is a virtual line system. There is a phone number to text right at 10 am. You put in number in party and rewards number. They send you text with 10 min window to get there. There is 75 person limit with no time limit. I do not have much hope that will get in....I really don't want to have to buy daybed foe solo non drinker!

Once you are on waitlist, they start letting those non cabana, daybed people in app 30-45 later depending on capacity.

Craps min $15 (two open tables)
UTH min $15 (one open table)

Apparently you can also use Paris and Bally pool as Diamond.
Heading to Paris to check that out and maybe lunch.

Thanks for the info! I assumed they were high, but you never know.

Also thanks for the tip about getting a room above a certain floor. Good stuff to know!

Ate lunch at Chayo on Linq promanade. Ordered carne asada burritos. Large large potions...Next up check in to see where I am on Go pool list if they will tell me and check out Bally and Paris. Strolled through Forum shops and purchased a Harley shirt for SO...not as bad as thought it might be at $42 but prob only souvenir he would like!

Diamond Plus should get you four drinks a day at designated restaurants or Starbucks - check with the Caesars Rewards desk to make sure :) The Vegas Laurel Lounges are still closed IIRC :(
