My wife received a pretty good offer for TI. 2 nights with a truckload of free play with a suite upgrade.

We had planned to stay at the Cal the last 2 days of our trip, but TI is interesting to us.

We played a lot in Feb before walking over to Mirage to see Shin Lim, so I'm guessing they saw my wife's slot play and gave her some offers.

The only big restaurant that interests us is the BBQ place. I thought there was a pizza slice place on the way to the tram to Mirage.

I feel like craps was 10-15 when we were there in Feb so I assume it's higher from COVID. I ended up playing only bubble craps, which gets me no points and no ratings.

Any reports on the rooms/suites? Table minimums since the reopening?

Is it quiet where we can get sleep? That was our biggest reason to stay at the CAL. Super quiet and laid back.

Stayed there a few years ago room was very quiet and pretty good size. Restaurants were meh but being on the strip you can go elsewhere for food

All the rooms and suites are renovated. Overall no noise concerns.

I had a petit suite there several years ago. It was very close to the elevator lobby but I never heard a peep.

Food options where meh but there are all kinds of great option across the street at V/P and next door at Mirage.

The suite I had was newly renovated, spacious and had a fridge. Plenty of room in both BRs for both you and your wife to spread out.

Not sure if they are running the tram to Mirage but before Covid-19 hit it was running.

Hope you guys have a great time.

The main attraction of TI is the hotels and Fashion Show mall surrounding it, so by virtue of that, it's generally not a noisy place. It's not really noteworthy by itself, but it has a CVS in the hotel and a fridge in the room, which is a plus in my eyes.

    My home base!

As a low roller they offer optional resort fees and discounted rooms, which pretty much make it a better value than staying anywhere else.
Rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. With the AC on high at TI I slept like a baby, of course I was exhausted from an all-nighter, so I didn't notice any noise
I've stayed at the palazzo with a friend, and and i would say TI was actually more comfortable, but i might just not be used to the suite layout at LVS

Good blackjack rules on low limits (at least pre-covid) and loose-ish slots. (I never do well on slots anywhere anyways)

We almost never get a car, so its a pretty good location-
Close to chinatown where we usually like to go/eat
    Close to downtown
Close to the wynn buffet- Brunch at the wynn then back to TI for blackjack is the start of a great day
Tram to mirage makes a trip to the center strip very walkable (no in-n-out near me, so i usually make sure to stop at the promenade once a trip)
Getting a box of bottled water at CVS is always the first thing i do

    Cons

The casino has a particular smell, i think due to the cleaning detergent they use
Food here sucks, don't plan on eating here at all
No elegant vibes, pretty much the same demographic as what you would expect on a booze cruise, regular people here to have fun
**Room Noise- Might be a concern if you have a rowdy bachelor/bachelorette party type group staying on your floor, but i suppose you could have rowdy neighbors everywhere.

    Thanks for all the info.

We will have a car as we are staying at 4 different places, plan to go downtown and plan to go hit some Henderson local places.

My wife did pretty well on slots there last time and loves the Brittney Spears machine there.

I remember them having a CVS.

We always bring a white noise machine. My wife is a light sleeper. We made the mistake of staying at the D (on the 18th floor) and could still hear base until 2-3 in the AM.

We are unlikely the typical tourist, we don't drink much, we don't go to clubs or party, we just gamble, eat cheap and sleep.

I like TI and have stayed there 4-5 times, but it has been a while. For the location and the room, I've honestly always thought it was one of the best values on the strip and have recommended it to a lot of first timers. I haven't stayed there in 3 years, but, was recently thinking about going back to get back on their comp radar since I'm getting a little bored with MGM's south strip properties.

I just stayed in June when Vegas opened back up.
As others have said the no resort fees makes it a great value on the strip, the rooms are all recently remodeled and are comfortable.
The casino floor has also been kept up and they have a new sports bar, but it was not open during my stay this year, but I enjoyed it last year.
Yes the restaurants are lacking but Gilley's is good for casual food and yes there is a ton of food across the street at V/P.
The best thing about TI is the employees, they are all very helpful and a lot of them are hold overs from when Wynn owned the place.

TI is my go to place due to price, location and the no thrills extravaganza! It suits us as we're not that into glitz, clubs and parties, yet still manages to offer all the amenities we'd ever typically need.

Me and the Mrs love nothing more to have a quick siesta late afternoon, get ready to go out to the strip for a meal and a wander, then return to The Breeze Bar for some VP, quality drinks and a personable service.

The optional resort fee is a big saving if you book direct and/or through a host.

Her offer mentioned an optional resort fee. We don't use any of the amenities while we are there. We can always use data on our phone if we need internet. Thanks for the tips!

Sadly Britney is no longer at TI, she was switched out for Wild Leprecoins while I was there in March. She's still at Cosmo and a few places downtown

Then TI will suit you pretty well.
About sleep, their rooms are very quiet, due to the location and the fact they don't have noisy night clubs on site.

Only casino I've ever been 'thrown out' of because I was dice settings. They nastily told my buddy and I that we were no longer permitted to play craps on the premises.
Before we were told we could no longer play we had the floor manager and what we presume to be the pit boss giving us the evil eye for almost an hour.
Was several years ago, but have never gone back.

I've always liked TI, although I've never stayed there. My brother met us last trip and I went up to see his room at TI. It was really nice, a little smaller than most rooms I've stayed in. The view of the strip was amazing. TI is in a unique location on the strip, right where the road starts to bend. So the angle was as if we were right on the road, with the street coming right at us head on. Great view.

I also like that it is an independent property, comps seem good. I would love to stay there sometime. And then there's Mystere!

This is probably 8 years ago. But had great pancakes for breakfast one morning there.

TI has dollar 9/6 JoB and a decent slot club, plus I heard comps are pretty generous... meh food options aside, I’ll have to try it out at some point :)

UPDATE: As noted below and verified on vpFREE2, TI’s full-pay VP is no longer... that’s a shame - heck, if Cosmo and MGM Grand can offer better VP, surely TI can (and probably should imo) :(

I liked TI before the separation. After that, I just felt no vibe there. Loved the fact they had $25 midi-bac after I asked to be able to touch the cards. Other than that, blah for me. I do know people who swear by the place though.

They have been cutting the pay tables and removing better VP machines over the past 3 years.
They used to have 9/6 JoB from $0.5 to $10.
