I watch the taco restaurant scene once a month. Sometimes I'm stoned.

If that was you at :57, your vocabulary has vastly improved and I commend you for that.

Movies about addiction/alcoholism are binary options; they're either completely optimistic or completely depressing. This is one of the latter, although I enjoyed it I just don't think I would re-watch it - kind of like Requiem for a Dream, or City of God (that one was definitely not about alcoholism)

Wow.. Steve Perry has opinions about Rob Halford at the start. :haha:

Nah, my hair never would go that high and I use a lot more f-words. That "jump his bones" thing seems familiar. Hmm.. did I do any of that in the 80's? I can't recall. Maybe. It was a simpler time. :)

I agree about Requiem For A Dream but think I’m ready for another watching of Leaving Las Vegas.

    I hate bumping a thread. It's obnoxious.

'HMPL' and the movie with Tackleberry in it lose out.

It's like when you go to the Orioles game and wear your Mike Dempsey jersey or if you decide to go see Sepultura and dawn the Slayer T.

I support everything Paul Kersey decides in these movies.

    R. Lee Ermey, better known for his role in Full Metal Jacket.

As for the movie, it’s incredibly sad, but he achieved what he set out to do. And it’s fiction, not a documentary. Nick Cage won the best actor Oscar.

Seen this doc/rockumentary but completely forgot about it.
Thanks for jarring my feeble memory. The post is enough, do not need to see it again.

Just don’t watch Bruce Willis as Paul Kersey.
