I believe they still have the 1 blackjack as I seen in a post recently. I can’t confirm on the drinks but would like to know as well

If I remember they had $1 Blackjack and the beers were $1-$2. Now lets get it completely open safely. Those prices were pre beer virus. Hope the prices stay there.

I used to get a lot of warm Bud Lights from those Hooter’s bars due to their specials.

Oyo had $1 blackjack last year, only one table and it was packed full. Nobody at the $5 table. Won a free beer with their new member promo. Very dead, drink service at the slot machines seemed non-existent.

I don't know for sure but I assume that Blackjack pays 1:1 at the $1 table. At that rate warm Bud Light fits right in if you can get one.

I have not played there but it does pay 1:1 but it still is rated as a good deal f on LVA site. I think if you played 5 then it pays 6:5 but it seems to me that has to be hard on the dealer at a full table to keep the payouts straight

This is correct... $1 to $4 bets get even money, $5+ gets 6:5.

Mathematically, the $5 double deck games at the downtown Boyd properties have a lower theo loss on a $5 bet compared to a $1 bet on the OYO game. Doesn’t make a $1 game any less fun to play though :)

The dealer doesn't have anything less than a dollar to pay people with. So if someone bets less than 5, they obviously get paid even money. If people bet a red, then the dealer would know to pay a red and white with blackjack. The only thing that might be confusing to a dealer is if someone bet 5 whites. They should get a red and white for a blackjack then.

As a result of local, state and federal mandates, which have included significant travel restrictions and social distancing guidelines, regular operations at OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas are being suspended until August 4, 2020. We are taking reservations for arrivals beginning August 5, 2020.

Still never heard of OYO Hotels....obviously not the 3rd biggest chain in the US...I have never been to China so you won't be seeing me in an OYO Hotel...and I have no interest in going to the former Hooters Casino, so you won't see me in their casino either. But, have they improved it since it was Hooters? (doesn't sound like it) My recollection of the one time I stepped into Hooters years ago, it was a dump...

Hi George, I 'm probably wrong but isn't the OYO chain an India group? I have to agree it is a dump but I had a few fun Hooter visits there with my son about 7-8 years ago. We had a blast & it was a fun time with my kid. Looking back, the night we spent there was a plus. We still have fun banter about that night, good wings, lots of beer and a very good band by the overhead doors. Servers were like they knew us forever.Very good. On the other side of the coin, my daughter stayed there once & she still says she feels like barfing when she thinks about it. LOL She won't even go back for the cheap $2 Bud Lights. We won't know until they open again to see what their specials are.

I hope they re-open soon. I'd hate to see the property close and change hands again. Another place I need to revisit on my next trip before they implode it. Last time I played craps there they could have used a shop vac to take my chips away.
