    My Trip Report

Soooo I’m brand new! So forgive me ahead of time ! I’m writing this first post from the car. We are currently driving to Vegas from LA. We have been visiting since the 3rd. (We live in KY). Super excited to have more fun before heading home on Thursday. I’m a slots girl! My hubby does play some BJ and a little VP. Was super bummed to hear the bars closed but we are so excited to be vacationing we will work with anything. I’m Diamond Elite with Caesars- I’ve passed the tiers for Seven Stars but no update on that. Let me know if anyone has any questions that I can try to find answers to. I’ll mostly post foodie pics, and slot wins!

Welcome and safe travels. Food pics are always welcome, maybe more so than slot wins.

Welcome, eager to read your trip report.

And your impression of driving through the furnace between LA & LV when temps in the area are approaching 120° F

Welcome. Good luck and don't let a "dumbed down" Las Vegas spoil your fun. . . .

So sorry my first reply is so late! Let’s just say I was so excited to be here I kind of lost track of time .

First...I just wanted to share that the Cosmopolitan is still the Cosmo. By far the largest crowds of people to me. I wasn’t concerned that I wasn’t safe as people stay within their said “groups”. I did manage to score the UNICOW- but I only got 40 spins and on a $3.00 bet !!!

We had reservations for Guy F. Kitchen but canceled because everyone was full (I’m taking recommendations for where to use my Diamond Celebration Dinner). Speaking of Diamond- they are now telling you that you can basically redeem your drink vouchers at Starbucks because the only other place is the pool bar which is apparently almost impossible to get to. I don’t know if there are other options at other properties but that’s what they are saying at Caesars.

Last...but not least I stopped to play a little lightning link and scored a JP.

Since you are at CP, I recommend Mesa Grill. Pork Tenderloin is awesome! Depending on drinks/appetizers/dessert, you and hubby will probably be around $120-$180 before the $100 celebration credit.
