Thank you for sharing such a detailed trip. Loved the bloody marys at hh and the white russians at cosmo i think too. I had some laughs too whilst reading the report in 2 nights. Will need to read the woman's version next and see how that compares to the male version lol.

Came up for me too and they have a "mexican street corn" variation I want....haven't seen that on a buffet before. Almost midnight here and now I am starving after pursuing the menu.

@Kachow I enjoyed Wicked Spoon, some of the things we had were super good! Compared to Wynn though.... haha

I thought it was good but underwhelming is accurate. I paid zero, which was a great deal. If I paid for one and got the tier BOGO, I'd feel like it was a fair deal. If I'd paid $73.98 for the two of us, I'd feel like that was a very bad deal. It was good but not $75-breakfast-for-two good. I do think they did a pretty decent job at maintaining normalcy and some amount of distancing at the same time though. Also I cant eat crab legs and spicy chicken and some of that other stuff at 10:30am even with my body still on eastern time, so for me it was just pretty much breakfast, and good but not special.

That is definitely a fair assessment. We would not have eaten there if I didn’t have a $35 dining credit to use there as a perk of being a gold hotels.com member. The guy that checked us in told us it could only be used at Wicked Spoon but one thing that is funny is they ended up applying our credit Against our room service rather than the WS. So now I know if I ever stay there using hotels.com again that I don’t really have to use it at only WS. All that being said, I will definitely be trying Wynn Buffet in the future if they are still doing it the same way as on your trip. I’ve always enjoyed their buffet in the past.

Before this gets locked, I just want to add to the historical record, that I was refunded for Bellagio's BS minibar charge and it cleared my account less than 24 hours after I called to ask why they put another big charge through that didnt appear anywhere on any bill. They didnt give any resistance and refunded it quick. I still think it was totally unacceptable that they did that, and worse that they never notified me in any way shape or form of the alleged charges, but they did get me my money back very quickly and without treating me like they were doing me a favor or giving any bad attitudes.

The dreaded minibar charge... I love when I get them and I never even opened the damn door! It’s good to hear there was no struggle though, but what I struggle with is all the people who just don’t bother looking and just pay it. :(

I agree, but what really chapped my arse about this one is I was never billed for it or informed of it, and the ONLY way I was aware of it is that I happened to be scrutinizing my bank records looking for another specific and unrelated thing and noticed a third charge from Bellagio, then tracked down all their charges and refunds and added the totals to determine the discrepancy. The highest total bill they sent me was for $809, which was correct. Of course how it all happened in the first place is equally unacceptable, but I only found it by accident, and only from my bank statements and not based on anything they did, because I was never invoiced for it; they just charged my card without notification or follow-up.

Dude - not for nothing (and have a great time) - but you are a dude. You have two, count them two, feet! For a five day trip you need two pairs of shoes - including the ones you wear on the plane!

Same thing when I was there, but you can get them in the gym if you really want them. Just walk in, grab and go !

I loved your report it was very entertaining. I loved the bit about Heidi's Beer Haus. I met Hedi for first time this month. Definitely one of my favorite machines.
