    A few notes form AC. The 5 x promo is cumulative of all CET properties. You don’t get a separate 25k maximum for each property.

    secondly if you are a table player like me, although it was not in my offers I found 10,000 bonus rewards credits by swiping my card in a harrahs Slot machine (my dominant home property of the three). I got another 1,000 today.

    A few CET food options from twitter and a report that my cousin gave me after staying at Harrahs Friday night.

    From Twitter

    Picture from twitter. My cousin and her husband stopped by the bar on the Bally’s pool deck for a few drinks and said service was decent.

    My cousin also said that over at Harrahs, on the large bayside patio outside the poker room, AC burger company was serving food at tables set up outside. She said there was also a temporary bar set up on the bayside patio. She said that her and her husband went outside to get drinks then carried them back into the gaming floor multiple times and no one said a word to them.

    Great to see that they took advantage of the pool deck space. Smart and good move.
    But I still wonder why they didn't do much more on the boardwalk, assuming that was an option, as it would have been a revenue source and a way to draw people in the casino. Based on reports, if I'm walking down the boardwalk, I see activity at Ocean's, I think someone said at Hardrock and a lot at Tropicana but not much at Bally's or Caesars.

    I didn’t make it to Caesars or Bally’s, sorry. I think you’re going to have to reconnoiter the situation, but stop at Canal’s Liquor store on the way down and pick up a half pint of Glenlivet or something nicer.

    Bally’s had some tables in front of Johnny Rockets, but they were not serving breakfast. The take out window along the boardwalk at Guy’s BBQ was open (we picked up a rack of ribs last year using some comps and they were excellent). Caesars has their boardwalk Beachside Bar open with a couple picnic tables, but I didn’t see any food available. Resorts had tables outside of Margaritaville plus a large covered outdoor area at Landshark.

    I'll be heading down next week for a day trip. I'll post a pic of my traveling bar (won't be much, I'll be driving, but a couple of scotches would be nice through the day).

    Just booked a room at Caesars for Wed, July 15. It was to supposed to be a day trip for safety reasons but I read enough to convince myself that getting a room is not a high level risk. There are a couple of things I want to do that require a stay over. I want to see if the beach umbrellas/chairs are still being put out comped for diamond guests on Caesars beach. I really liked that last year. I also would like to walk the boardwalk with a good quality Godfather (Scotch/Amoretto). A few of these and the car becomes a lot more dangerous than a hotel room. Lastly, I haven't eaten food prepared outside of my kitchen since March. A restaurant meal would be nice...even al fresco. I picked midweek to lessen the crowd. I picked that day because I have an offer for a backpack from Ocean that I want to pick up.
    My casino account is constipated with funds that have been building up in it with no where to spend. Well, actually, I've decided to fill in my huge pool this year ( it's such a pain in the ass!) so that's a $10,000 expense that just ate up the casino fund, but I digress.

    Sipping a Godfather while strolling along America's first Boardwalk in 90 degree heat. Why not? Maybe double book at Ocean and see what kind of offers you attract.

    Can you have a bottle of water at a VP machine. I certainly don't want to have to get up and go outside to drink water
    if my mouth is dry.

    Outdoor only dining will be challenging today. At least the weather looks to much improved for tomorrow.

    I'm contemplating a trip at the very end of the month to Caesars AC, I'm probably naïve but am hoping within 3 weeks potentially inside dining opens (in other words, drinking at tables/slots).. we shall see I suppose.

    Haven't been since February and I'm going through withdrawals lol

    Not for The Garage at 5th City Side at Ocean. I guess they are roping off the west side of the garage facing the bay: "The Garage at 5th City Side offers a covered space for you to enjoy take out dining, located on the 5th level of the City Side parking garage. If it rains, we’ve got you “covered”

    Gotta give them an E for effort.

    What??? Did Ocean put seating for eating into the 5th floor of their garage? Really? That's the atmosphere you want to enjoy a meal? I must have got something wrong.

    I think this may be a temporary set up due to Tropical Storm Faye. It's covered and you can look out towards the bay if you squint your eyes a bit. I would be curious as to what this looks like.

    Governor Murphy has allowed restaurants to open in a covered area with two open walls, so I guess this is one way to serve customers and remain in compliance during these strange times. But since the gaming floor is on #6, I guess you could take stairs next to the garage elevator banks keep distance.

    I just received the email from Caesars Rewards, as @Wallew mentioned last week, it looks like all their AC properties have some form of rooftop dining with tables and umbrellas. But 60 mph winds today and horizontal rain will make that difficult, especially for a martini drinkers! Shallow glasses and high winds and rain will make things a mess.

    where's the adventure in that? No salt air, no exhaust fumes, constantly bumping into your significant other which might lead to something something.

    While I get that AC properties are trying, do they really expect anyone except for the most loyal, local customers to:

    1) not drink on the casino floor while gaming/be served alcohol while playing;
    2) not eat at a nice restaurant inside when it's 95 degrees out;
    3) eat on top of a parking garage;
    4) and drive hours for this with multiple tolls to, in all likelihood, lose money?

    I want to preface by saying that I'm not attacking the inside dining ban, however, it's incomprehensible to think anyone would go out of their way for this. For those customers who have to drive 3.5 hours each way to spend a few nights, such as people like myself in the DC market as well as those near the NYC market, this couldn't be any less enticing.

    As you Jersey guys know, I love AC, but at this point the casinos that are open are providing such little enticement to come, they're probably better off being closed. If I need to gamble that bad, I'll break my own rule and go to a local casino. At least locally, while I have to buy drinks in MD casinos, I do have the option to buy them inside and drink them at a machine. For those who gamble sober, no idea how you can do that. I need to have a few beers in me before making poor life decisions lol, it's more fun that way at least.

    As I stated in the first post I have reservations next weekend at Caesars. I spent some time on the phone with the people at Caesars and Bally’s checking out food options and it really isn’t promising. I was able to make a dinner reservation at Morton’s( al fresco behind the horse statues on pacific ave) for Friday night and Guy’s chophouse( on the Bally’s pool deck) for Saturday. The only options for breakfast are the taza take out, or Gordon Ramsey is doing take out breakfast. I also found out that shockingly all AC CET properties are currently NOT doing room service.( This seems beyond stupid).

    The people I spoke to were not real knowledgeable about the bar/ drink situation. Also no one could give me an answer on any Diamond perks available since the lounges are closed.

    After my disheartening conversations with multiple CET people, I feel that CET in AC not only dropped the ball, they dropped it then it rolled away and they can’t find it.

    On the other hand I decided to call Hard Rock after the run around with Caesars and Bally’s. They have been sending me decent offers even though I kind of wrote them off last summer.

    Speaking with the people at Hard Rock was very refreshing. They have put together a pretty good ( make the best of a bad situation plan). The woman on the VIP line knew every little detail of what was open and how they were ready to do their best to make sure you have a great time.

    First they have room service running 24/7. Room service is temporarily also delivering food from the Hard Rock Cafe and the YuYu noodle bar to your room. Hard Rock Cafe exterior, the Hard Rock beach and on the second floor patio are all open for table service and feature a bar. Council Oak Fish is open for take out and has a bar on the boardwalk. The woman also said that there is a large bar set up somewhere in the area of the valet drop off by the lobby.

    After my conversation with Hard Rock I am now booked there next weekend also. I will make my final decision this week. I actually think a may make a short reconnaissance trip and get a lay of the land in a few days before I spend the whole weekend with the wife.

    @Wallew - if you do go, please share your thoughts. Very curious to see how this plays out on a week to week basis. I really want to go, but am waiting for the drinking situation inside to open up. The more I think about it, its difficult for me to not be frustrated by it. I really wanted to hit the 5X for CET, and I’m ready to spend some money, but I just can’t get over the no drinking inside.

    This is why I’m hoping the Eldorado merger goes through soon, it just seems as if these guys couldn’t find their asshole in the dark with both hands.

    for those who have a car and are looking for a good alternative dining experience 5 minutes from harrahs across the brigantine bridge
    check out a place called THE BISTRO----just past the lighthouse circle on the left side across the street from aversa's [which has excellent pastries and the best pizza in brigantine,sold by the slice]

    the Bistro has 5 weekly dinner specials ranging in price from $12.95 to $16.95 and includes soup or salad and a choice of 3 deserts to go along with their regular menu which ranges from $12.95 to $24.95-----they also have weekly breakfast specials----they were a byob----they currently have take-out and outside seating for about 8 tables------good food with decent size portions-----
    if you are a veteran you may want to check out the vfw or the American legion both within walking distance of the bistro and aversa's as well as an ace hardware and a cvs

    if you do not have a car you can catch the 501 bus at the ac bus terminal which goes to brigantine with stops at harrahs and the borgata
