With over 4000 restaurants in the city, what were some of your favorites you eat at often that others may not know about? I love Westie's reviews since he finds some great places off the beaten path. Some of these little places are great and deserve our business if they survive the turmoil.

My favorites that I don't miss on each visit are:
I Am Thai on Warm Springs. They have outstanding food that I prefer over other, higher rated Thai places that I tried. The location and ambiance is awful, but worth a visit if south of the 215 for the food.

Crepe Expectations on Eastern in Henderson - we eat here so many times each trip since they have so many great crepes to choose from. The reuben crepe with granny apple cole slaw on the side is hands down my favorite, but the berry delight, sonora, frisco and Greek are outstanding also.

Fat Choys in the Eureka Casino for their short rib grilled cheese is a favorite.

Sunville Bakery on Sahara is a good Chinese bakery with some awesome items at low prices.

I am looking for new places to try next year.

I loved the brunch I had at 7th and Carson! It's been a while... maybe 10-11 months ago?
Really really good food, nice service and decor and an easy walk from Fremont street

Also my husband swears the best corn dog anywhere is at Excal in the upstairs food court. They hand dip them. But that's more of a drunkie munchie than a meal

Bob Taylor's Ranch House is great and flies very much under the radar. It's said to be the oldest continuously-operating restaurant in the area. It's an old school steak house that used to actually be a ranch house. The steaks are the same or better than all of the absentee-celebrity-chef places at a fraction of the cost. Drinks are very reasonable too.

    That's the good news.

The bad news is that it's wayyyyyy out in the toolies. Roughly just NE of Ann Road and Tenaya Way. Google it, or use yer garmin.

If you suggest it, be prepared for a chorus of "Oh Noooooo, it's toooooo farrrrrr!" but they will always STFU after they have dined there!

Three fantastic breakfast places - Rosalie, La Belle Terre, and Rooster Boy Cafe. I'll work on my dinner list! These three are reason enough to rent a car when in LV.

I have had a couple of really good experiences at Panevino, on the south edge of the airport. Nice runway views too if you’re in to that (I’m an aerospace engineer and aviation geek, so...yeah, I am).

We love Carlitos Burritos. They serve a breakfast burrito that is huge and fantastic. I believe it's in Henderson.

Wow, been years -- and I mean years -- since we were there. And it's not like we've never out that way. Thanks for the reminder.
