We are supposed to go 7/22 as the back up plan for our 25th anniversary trip to Hawaii that got canceled. I change my mind pretty much hourly at this point. I do keep checking here and if things close down, that would make the decision easy. But I really want to go so I hope things improve and everything is open, but then I have the decision to make. I’m just so torn! :wiggle:

We are booked for the last week in August. It just depends on if the travel ban has been lifted or not. We live in NY. The quarantine doesn't apply to essential workers like myself but it will apply to my wife and I don't think she will let me go alone.

Yeah I think there's a lot of people in your boat of required quarantine upon return, which would suck

I've got my plethora of masks ready and ready to go assuming I'm still healthy and able, and after a few months of essentialin' on the front lines slinging milk and cheese for all those in need with no issues I'll probably still be good.

Barring another shutdown or travel ban, we're headed out this weekend from Alabama (via ATL). We've got plenty of masks, hand sanitizer, and plan to avoid large crowds and other situations that might be unsafe. We don't figure it's any more unsafe to travel to Vegas than to Florida, and it seems like half our town has gone to the beach in the last couple of weeks.

I'm going on the 29th. Admittedly, I could be a little overly confident since I made it through last trip unscathed. I'll just follow the same protocol I did while I was there. When I get back I'll do what I've done the last two weeks. I'll keep the door closed to my office (no one comes in, I don't come out), continue to always wear a mask when I'm out in public and keep that limited, and enjoy my solitude in he afternoons at home. In fact, I'm looking forward to that part again too.

We’re unsure and will decide kind of last minute. Hubby and I are scheduled to leave on July 24.

Headed there on Thursday. I will follow all protocol, and am not going to worry about it. Hygiene, masks, all that stuff. Meeting some friends out there and looking forward to it. I respect others for pulling back for their reasons. Safety and health wishes for all...

I leave July 22nd. As I told a few members on here, I am not going to make a decision until July 21st. The most I will lose is $64 - flight only. I don't care if I get credits or not - I have more right now than I will need for the next year. Hotels and everything seems to have suspended cancellation fee policies. So I am not worried about that either.

I just wake up, thinking 80% chance I'll go. The last three days have shown a decline (in charts, for 7 day rolling average). That's positive. Then because I read Twitter all day long (bored), I get discouraged by some of the things I see or read, so by dinnertime, it drops to 50%. Then I wake up to 80%, repeat and rinse.

It isn't healthy for me to obsess over this. I know there is nothing I can do except watch what is going on and make an informed decision on the 21st. I am hoping for the best, but I am also mentally preparing myself for the worst. Like others have said, Vegas will be waiting for us. :)

Good luck to those who do go - be sure to post a TR of the big winnings! For those who cancelled - I completely understand and I don't think anyone would judge either.

I'm going July 18-25 and again July 31-August 8. I've already been twice since Vegas reopened (June 7-13 and June 21-27). I work remotely from my room during the day, then go downstairs and play at night!

I've felt pretty safe both times I've been. I wear a mask, wash my hands, social distance, etc. I don't think I ever sat directly next to anyone at a bar or at a machine.

I can’t vote, either. We are slated to leave the 20th but will decide a couple days ahead of that whether or not we’ll get on the plane. Our backup plan is Council Bluffs for 5x tier and reward credits. My brother in Alabama is battling a nasty case of COVID which has changed my outlook on things quite a bit. I’m guessing I will be in CB....

We were planning to go on 7/9 for 4 to 5 nights before all these covid shit happen but with all these going on ... we are not going but hoping may go in august if not maybe September.

when we are in Vegas we like to let it play by no rules (lol) I mean no schedule stay up late have some fun gambling but I was there during 3/16 shutdown and felt very unease while playing games didn’t seat w me right and I don’t wanna have that feeling again so probably skipping July trip :(

Not going. Waiting for certain restaurants to re-open.. for now, will just go to the local and put up with my husband's paranoia (I'm wearing a mask *and* a face shield at the casino.. and going during off-peak times, yet still ...)o_O

I was supposed to leave for Vegas this afternoon, but I made the decision to cancel on Saturday. First, I have the sobering fact that I turn 70 in a few months....damn. I am in good health, take no medications and remain active...try keeping up with an active 2 year grandson sometime. However, I am faced with being in a higher risk group. Second, my airline is no longer blocking out the middle seats on their planes. I am not concerned about the flight out, but don't relish sitting shoulder to shoulder with a stranger on the 3+ hour flight home after being in Vegas. I don't want to risk exposing my family members to a potential COVID exposure. Finally, and this is the clincher, is that I am not happy with what I have been seeing/hearing about people's lack of wearing masks and crowding together out there. I booked another Vegas trip back in May for later this month. Right now I am taking a wait and see attitude on whether I cancel that trip too. My son asked me last week if I was concerned about the uptick in virus cases out in Nevada. I told him that if I was exposed to the COVID-19 virus, that the virus would have to go into quarantine for two weeks.
