With the spike in cases lately, who plans on still going to Vegas in July? Feel free to elaborate below with your situation, like age being factor etc.

not July....but keeping plans for August....who knows what will happen by then....I have done everything by the book....isolation for months....seen only a couple people but no physical contact & masks & wipes were used. We have lost 5 family members in 2 months....the 1st was my husband in Feb....very tired of the loneliness ….but will do mask, wipes, distancing at airport & while there. SWA is still doing the empty middle seats then too....hoping for the best

If this topic/poll is able to stay on the topic of whether or not you are going in July or not, and stays away from rumors, speculation and politics, we can keep it open.

    Otherwise... :lock:

I should be here now, but I'm glad that I'm not.

Try not to elaborate, as the thread will only get closed.

None of these apply to me because I’m just not sure. I’m not a “heck yeah I’m going”, but also not a “no way”. Definitely a “I have no idea right now...”

We cancelled our trip for July 3 - 7th, it just didn't feel like the right time for us. We're looking to mid September for our next visit. Stay safe and be well everyone!

Hittin the road this Thursday night after work from LA. Only way I'll change my mind is if they completely shutdown the strip like they did in March. My backup plan is Big Sur in Northern California.

We're still traveling, though the amount is way down. Vegas will just be a 2021 thing. We're cool with that.

I guess one thing that can skew the results too is the average age of this board. I honestly have no idea. I do know in generally one of the younger ones on the cruise boards I take part in, not sure if it's the same here. I know the average age of a visitor to Vegas is I want to say 60s? I'm a 30 year old degen lol

I'm 90% sure we'll go as long as Vegas isn't shut down.

I’m participating in a trial that’s scheduled to start next week (7/13). This recent increase in Covid has me concerned for sure.

If NJ lifts the 14 day quarantine upon return from Nevada I will be taking my August Vegas trip. Unfortunately I don't see that happening

Yep kind of the boat we're in. Heading there the 15th. My wife and I both work remotely now so we'll self quarantine when we get back. We were there in March when the shut down happened and I just don't want to go through that again.

I'm only in my 60s when I try and walk anywhere :D

I'm a 39 year old degen, and fwiw I would go now, even though there is a possibility that persons w/MS are in a more vulnerable group. I'd just be worried about passing it on to others, more than catching it myself.

I really really want to go but I picked “no, not at risk but no way.” Have at risk relatives. Sigh. I’m good with this decision.

It’s weird. When I read recent TRs, I get more excited about food porn than VP/Slot porn. I always thought that I was a degen gambler.
