I don't get emotional at the "surprise" return of the military parent at a public setting. Actually it annoys me as I feel some things are private and should be shared in the family setting...not at an assembly in a school.

I do however, get very emotional at the opposite----when the National Guard group or whatever is leaving to go overseas and you wonder how many will actually return.

Bob Marley's song Three Little Birds. I used to sing that to my late kitty Boo Boo each time we went to the vet. I miss him every time I hear it now.

Still after all these years Brian's Song makes me mist up. Even just hearing the music.

Things that have to do with dogs... Old dogs, abandoned dogs, abused dogs. I'm a softy for man's best friend.

I went to the park one day and there was a container of tennis balls/dog toys with a picture of a dog on it that read "Hello, I'm Max. These were my favorite toys when I was around, but we have an unlimited supply up here in dog heaven. I hope you and your furry friend have as much fun with them as I did!" Haha it fucking wrecked me.

Animal stories: reuniting with owners, animals passing, animal abuse or mistreatment, trophy hunters, animal recovery stories (veterinary medicine successes, trials, etc).

Child abuse or neglect, personal loss, feelings of failure, other things.

Looking at pics of my grandson or seeing him running around the house when we Skype - and not being able to give him a snuggle.

9/11. Lost some close people that day and almost lost my Dad. Feels like a lot of people have forgotten that day, but I sure haven't.

Won't link it, but Dave's performance at the 2020 Brit Awards is very powerful.

I had seen that done with the tennis balls. When we lost Buster in 2016, I copied the idea a few months later. My Buster was the most obedient, loving, best boy ever....but if he "stole" another dog's tennis ball, drop it lost all meaning. I could leave a steak on the coffee table and he'd sit in front of it but never touch it. All bets off with a tennis ball!

Pretty much anything. I've watered up reading most of y'alls reasons for crying. I'm a hot mess.
Mostly anything animal related if I had to pinpoint. I live out in the sticks and seeing roadkill is commonplace but I will cry every time I see an animal on the side of the road. Sometimes I just look at my doggos and tear up knowing how much I love them and that I will eventually out live them...opps, doing it now! Sheesh!

Pretty much anytime Phillippa Soo sings in the second half of Hamilton.

When Taps is played in “From Here to Eternity”

Those sad ASPCA animal commercials with that Sarah McLachlan song.

Sometimes songs just hit differently on certain days and make me cry. Music can always hit me hard, in a good or bad way.

Same. It was a couple days before I was supposed to start work down there. In addition, the story of Michelle Vo from the 1 October event.

In terms of lighter stuff, AGT and Titan Games always have some stories that get me. And the Bellagio fountains doing "Claire de Lune".

I still get emotional on 9/11, especially watching all those shows about 9/11.

Princess Di's funeral. Elton John singing candle in the wind - Princess Di's version.

There are several versions of Amazing Grace that make me tear up.
    Several of my favorite songs.
Sometimes just being in Vegas and seeing some of my favorite things and appreciating them.
