Canceled my June trip to Vegas and was planning to see a few friends that lived in St Louis for this month but canceled that as well. At this point I’ve canceled any travel plans for this year. I’m missing Vegas a lot but I know it will be there when I return which is hopefully next year.

Cancelled rover cruise from Basel to Amsterdam and Zurich and Prague pre and post trip.
Have replaced that with a week at the beach in a few weeks and then Vegas on 7/30!

I only had Vegas and Arizona on tap for this year, with plans for 2 cruises next year, but . . . .

. . . I made it to Arizona in February. Vegas in April turned into May, then June, then July, then August, then September. Now bupkus.

No worries. During this travel hiatus, my travel funds are growing and whenever it is safe for ME to travel, I will be on the first thing smokin' !!

Two Vegas trips and still on the fence for August.
Mexico Riviera cruise—first year in many that I won't get to Cabo San Lucas
Annual week at Dinkey Creek in the Sierra.
Annual week in Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival, scheduled for Sept., already cancelled.

I had no idea you were still in Spain @pebbles. So sorry to hear and with all of the challenges getting your refunds. That's so ridiculous.

But I'm glad you are physically well. Sending positive vibes your way. Hope to see you in Vegas again next Spring.

We've been talking today and we're thinking about renting a trailer for a weekend here and there and lashing it to the back of the Ridgeline and heading to beach or mountain. Fresh air and getting away; bike and tee it up; chill; wave at the "neighbors" a hundred yards away. That really could be the travel mode of the moment for the foreseeable future.

We fortunately made it to LV in Feb. and to Sandals the first week of March. Since then, cancelled trip to Connecticut in May for Grandkid's concert and 8th grade graduation; trip to Disney World in June with twin grandkids (age 7); Panama Canal Cruise in October; Christmas Concert for other grandkids in Idaho; and finally a couple of Vegas trips fit in there somewhere!

Just about to pull the trigger on reservations when everything hit in Feb. Actual cancelation was last fall. Planned the trip in July to see friends in LV and then my usual 4-5 nights in hotel. I had a respatory thing for about a month. Finally hours before leaving, I pulled the plug. Wouldn't have had much of a time. Unfortunately my bud's on a respirator now. Just hoping and praying to see him again. Wife has it too, but so far so good.

We cancelled a May Vegas trip, June trip to Grand Junction to see our youngest son and his family and an Alaskan cruise, would have been our first cruise. But we now have a crap load of $$ in our Delta wallet. Glad we have until 9/22 to use them.

Was planning to go to Vegas in May. Nope.

Normally we would have went to Wisconsin Dells once by now. But I'm leery.

We cancelled our April trip to Vegas. We also cancelled our summer trip to Paris and Reykjavík. We would be there right now! After talking about it, since we have airline credit we are going to add most likely Barcelona to our trip between Paris and Reykjavík, hopefully 2021!

We were kind of bummed when our Vegas plans got cancelled, but every one of our friends seemed to have an epic trip (most w. families) that got cancelled, like Hawaii, biking through France for a month, Japan, Ireland, Taiwan, +..

    Everyone
had to cancel the week before they were going to go.

We realized we didn't have that much to complain about.

Now all our friends are deciding whether their kids should go off to college and if it'll all just be online.

We cancelled a trip to PA, a short trip to Vegas (planned but not booked), and then an 8-day southern Caribbean cruise. That one stung because we only got a cruise credit - which ate up our deposit for the next 12-18 mos. assuming we can even go on a cruise or feel safe doing so.

We kept that original cruise time off work on the books and we're hoping to fill it in with something that is drivable.

Missed out on family trip to Aruba at end of March. Blessed to have been able to go before.

Rebooked for the end of next March; am optimistic there will be a vaccine by then!

I do not take this trip for granted. A few years ago, was in a lower paying job. But persistence (and hard work) paid off with a better job. Not looking back!

Side note: Stellaris casino at Marriott highly recommended

Cancelled Vegas of course. And just cancelled what would have been a first trip to Key West. Was so looking forward to driving across the Seven Mile Bridge...
