That looks amazing - hope you get there eventually.
i keep checking British Airways flight prices even though I can't go, and I'm guessing my August Vegas trip is out of the question - even if the USA lets in UK visitors I can't see my employer being happy taking an extra 2 weeks off to quarantine after 2 weeks holiday. Fingers crossed I get over there in spring 2021

    In order:

DC work trip, conveniently scheduled to see some bands, followed by a night in Philadelphia to see the same bands again
    Long weekend in San Francisco
    Atlantic City Beer Fest
Second DC work trip, scheduled for the weekend of a fest i wanted to attend
    Vegas for Punk Rock Bowling
I am supposed to be in Merida right now
Los Angeles next week for a fest
Another fest in PA late July

Yes, I go to a lot of fests. Or I used to anyway.

My flight to Peru in December got cancelled when Avianca filed for bankruptcy and cancelled all flights in and out of Peru.

Cancelled a bunch of work trips - I was supposed to go to Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, and one other place I forget now. Will most likely cancel or postpone the August Vegas trip this year. We might do a shorter trip later this year and the usual next year.

We pulled the plug on our Vegas trip that had been scheduled for next week.

50/50 right now on the trip scheduled for the end of August.

We postponed a month in Europe this Aug/Sept. Some time in London, then back to back cruises, the first to Norwegian fjords followed by 2 weeks to Ireland and Iceland. Moved to the same time next year .... hopefully, will be able to cruise safely by then!

Just a trip to North Carolina. My kids really miss their grandmother there, but I don't want to risk infecting her.

    Nothing yet.

Scheduled to go to Germany in December, but I'm not hopeful.
Scheduled to go to Ocean City for 4 nights next month...we'll see if it's even open then.

Nothing as fancy as that amazing looking villa.

I cancelled my spring trip to Vegas and my post surgery trip to River Rock Casino in British Columbia where I had hoped to eat all the Dim Sum in Richmond, BC.

We have cancelled a trip to eat all the things in Portland and a couple of other long weekend trips in OR and WA.

I won't be going to Idaho to see mom. We won't be going to Yellowstone/Tetons this fall. I won't be in Vegas for either my September or December trips, and I'm not there this weekend either.

We are still on the fence about our Thanksgiving plans. Normally we rent a condo for 3 days out on the WA coast and mom comes out. We get a heat & eat Thanksgiving meal from one of our favorite restaurants out there and hang out, watch movies, read books, do puzzles, eat, drink, and walk on the beach all day long. Mom does not really quarantine or practice good social distancing. (even when the hospital told her she had to stay home because of possible exposure, she didn't.) I'm not sure that she will quarantine before coming out here, so we may not be able to see her then if she won't meet us partway on the safety issues. I would feel terribly guilty if we went and she wasn't invited. Mom guilt is the worst!

Also, the condo is now asking for a 5 night minimum stay and that is a LONG time in a beach town without much to do. I'm not ready to say it's cancelled yet, but I'm also not ready to book it right now. November seems like it's a million years away at this point.

Ooh... I wish this was my backyard. We had such a good time when we explored Kananaskis on our solo day in Banff/Jasper. So many dirt roads, so little time. :)

We came home early from Florida because of Covid-19 in March.
Cancelled a May trip to Spain for a friend's daughter's wedding.
Cancelled my May Vegas trip and will be cancelling my November Vegas trip.

I started a new job at the end of February and wanted to get out there to meet all my customers/suppliers. No business travel. Mostly through Quebec, Ontario and upstate NY.

My wife and I talked about travel. No trips this year because the risk is way too high.

I do feel for all those that have cancelled trips.

Had a trip to NY/Boston for my 40th cancelled in April, and pre-emptively cancelled our 3 week Cali/Vegas road trip in August a while back.

Coming from the UK and being limited when we can travel due to the wife's job we have written this year off. I've rebooked for us to go to Vegas next year, but the way things are going I'm still not confident of it being safe enough for us and may just stick to Europe. Hotels and flights booked with points so fully flexible and refundable so no risk at least.

Nothing as exciting as some of you. We were devastated to cancel our Spring trip to Vegas. Should have been there April 8th to May 14th.We had found the best deals and discounts ever and were hoping for a great time.

We had side trips to Mesquite and Laughlin planned and a bunch of activities that were new to us.

Sadly, that has gone, I hopped over to Spain to help my SO pack for the trip on 11th March. Spain locked down on 14th March. I am still here. I've had 7 flights cancelled (plus the Vegas flight) and although I do have one to go see my dad on 16th July, I'm so used to being disappointed, that I haven't told him. I have so much money held in refund accounts that aren't giving a set end time. Virgin told me last week that I can expect my refund in 90 days. Bearing in mind we should have been home for 90 days already, they are having a laugh. Ryanair have asked me several times to take a voucher, and if I refuse I may get the cashback after a year!!! Easyjet is processing it, but still think it will be mid-October before they issue a refund. The flight should have been bringing me back to the UK on 24th March.

At least I am well and can hope for the future. Many people are not.

Sorry for the sad post. It is what it is.

You are still in Spain!?! Are you trying to get out or do you just live in Spain now? That's crazy that it has taken so long for you to get home. I don't know what I would do in that situation. Probably cry and complain to my husband until he stops taking my calls. :)

Cancelled 10 days in Germany in May. Got refunded for all the hotels but the airlines gave a "credit" that's good til 2022 and that will fund a lot of Vegas trips.

I still have the transatlantic crossing on the QM2 on my radar. DW refuses to go with me because "there's nothing to do for seven days". Hell, the casino's open.

The border opened for some countries and essential workers last week. We own an apartment in Spain, so it's not costing us any more than our usual expenses. The border to the UK is open now, but I'm sceptical because I've had so many cancelled flights. I'm my dad's main carer and have put stuff in place so he is well and comfortable. It has been better than I expected, I miss my dad terribly, but know that the care plan I put in place for him is working well and my SIL is stepping up for the first time in forever and actually helping him. I have a flight booked for 16th July, but because of all the cancellations, I'm not holding my breath. I haven't told dad either. I don't want to disappoint him.

We usually bring dad to Spain for a few weeks a couple of times a year. Not sure I will subject him to airport dangers this year. We usually go for three weeks over Christmas and New Year since my mom died. Not hopeful for this Christmas.

Clarification, my partner is a Spanish resident. I am considering applying to become one too because I have fulfilled a bunch of the requirements due to Covid and having to isolate here. Win-Win. We are checking it out Monday.

So far I’ve canceled a Vegas trip with my niece in May and a trip to visit my other niece in Florida in April. I just canceled my brother’s flight here next weekend because the governor just passed a no gatherings of over 10 people order, we were going to a celebration of life.

    Happy birthday to me!
