Have a great trip. I know you make the most of your time, this plan is no exception.

Say hello to Jason from me and Tony. He's one of the good guys.

Whatever you and your BFF decide to play, I hope you are winners.

Well, I got there, but the updates may be few and far between. I left the Power adapter for my Surface Pro at home . . .AGAIN!!!

    Working on getting a replacement.

What room did your bff have at Bally's? Bally's to Paris is a nice upgrade. I have an Executive Suite at Bally's and was looking forward to staying in that room (one of my fav CET entry level suites).

Sucks on the Surface Pro adapter. Doesn't the usb c also work for a slow charge? That may be a cheaper alternative then buying another surface pro charger. I just bought a Surface Go and I'm regretting not splurging for the Pro.

Good luck DaiLun. Wishing you lots of luck. Can't wait for the pictures to roll in.

OK, a very long day, lots of action, lots of pictures, lots of stories.

I woke up at 5:30AM, and packed everything EXCEPT for the AC adapter of the Surface Pro, so this TR almost didn't get written in real time.

Got to the rail station just as the bus was pulling away, so it was another 20 minutes until the next bus.

Even for a Sunday morning, Mineta SJ airport was dead.

The SWA plane had only 39 passengers, so it was very quiet. For snacks they supplied the obligatory packet of Chex mix and served ice water.

The plane arrived on time, and this will be my first comment on whether or not you should travel to Las Vegas under these conditions.

If you have claustrophobia, breathing problems, or for some other reason, don't like wearing a mask, you might really want to reconsider taking a trip to Las Vegas. My mask was on for about 4 hours straight, and my flight was only an hour and a half. Mask are being enforced at all venues.

OK, enough said about that . . .

They WERE NOT observing social distancing on the car rental shuttle. Between that, and the AVIS counter was serving AVIS, Budget, and Payless customer with two dedicated and friendly employees. It took me a record 1 hour to get my car.

This was the line at AVIS.

I could finally take my mask off at 12:30PM. BFF met me at the car rental place, and we went to Silverton.

Silverton is advertising their gaming specials

The protocol for elevator usage is no more than 4 people per elevator. Of course, you have some jackasses who crowd the elevatoe, but there are stupid people everywhere.
    upload_2020-7-5_21-34-54.png

BFF has $25 in food and $60 in FP. I have $50 in food and $75 in FP. Monday is Senior's Day, and food is 50% off, so we decided NOT to eat at Silverton for that lunch, and save his comp for tomorrow breakfast. We went to Del Taco. I made a quick $70 on a slot machine, which paid for lunch.

Got to Bellagio after dropping BFF off, and checked into my room with no problems. After figuring out that I didn't bring my AC adapter, I tried looking for one. Fry's didn't have any, and Best Buy didn't have any, so I started looking on Craigslist for a cheap used Surface Pro that had an AC adapter. I found two. One broken Surface Pro 4 for $150, and on working Surface Pro 3 for $160. I sent replies to each of the individuals and told myself I'd take the first one that answered.

The $160 one answered first, and I made an arrangement to meet him. So, I said to myself "Now all I have to do is make $160, and it'll be net zero dollars.". Yeah right, so I went downstairs and sat down to a Buffalo Gold machine, I put in max bet, and I was shocked when the but was $18.00. WTF. Oh, it was a nickel machine! (Dumb s**t). So, I downshifted to $3.00 and hit the bonus with 4 Gold Tokens, the final total was a net $300. Good! Now my $160 was made and then some.
    upload_2020-7-5_21-42-49.png
So, with $340 up in my pocket, I decided to go to my car and drive a little. I got a reply from the $160 Surface Pro guy and we arranged a meeting place out in the West Russell Road area. I got out there 2 hours early, and knew that this was Red Rock country, so I wandered on over to Red Rock, where I immediately "gave back" the $300. Oh well, it takes money to make money, right?

So, I sat down to a "More More Hearts" machine. You know the 2nd generation of "More Hearts". I put in $100, and now that I was "pissed off", I played at $8.00 a pull. Well, whadda you know. I got the bonus. Not only did I get the bonus, but look at what I ended up with!!!
If you can't see the total at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. The bonus game paid $1192.50. About as close to a W-2 as you can get.

So as I was looking around for a TITO machine, I asked a staff member for directions. I looked at his name tag.
My son has a biblical name. His name is the last book of the old testament, and the last prophet.
    So did this gentleman
    upload_2020-7-5_21-53-35.png
after I cashed in my ticket, I toodled around a little bit and then I went to pick up the Surface Pro.

Looks like things are off to a relatively auspicious, if detoured, start (hey sometimes detours can be a good thing, as much as my brain hates them :goofy::cuss::haha:)... best of luck the rest of the way

Oh, before I forget, in the middle of the casino floor at Bellagio, there stands this . . .

    Onward to Sahara

I got back at 5:10, just enough time to drop off the stuff in my room and meet BFF downstairs in time to go to Sahara.

I was already in the database, having a card at GSR in Reno. The promotion was "earn 500 points (TC) and get a free t-shirt" TC are $1/TC at Sahara, so for $500 in action, you get a shirt. I also had a 3X multiplier, which theoretically meant that I could get the shirt for $166 of "action". So, I played a little bit, and made 457 TC and was up $6.00, but time for dinner.

I hate to quit on you guys, but it's now past my bedtime and I haven't had a nap all day. I'll get up early and finish my day's TR tomorrow morning.

Bottom line is that (minus the Surface Pro), I am about $2000 up. Time for beddy bye . . . .
