2 night comp. we have never stayed at Caesars properties before. we have the option of the Paris burgundy Eiffel Tower view or Cp Octavius premium king suite. We are going last week of July. Any suggestions? (Currently booked penthouse mirage but that’s a different thread ).

There are no Octavius premium suites are you sure it isn't just the Octavius Premium Room? Regardless it is a no brainer to pick CP.

I usually would say CP, but stayed there the 1st weekend in june and because of covid, I wish I didnt. If you are a slot or VP player, then you are fine, but table games were hard to find an open table. Craps was 50 min most of the time during the day with 1 table open. Sometimes 2 were open but never saw below 25 min. Bj tables were mostly 50 min, and the couple 25.00mins had people waiting. Pai gow face up had 1 50 min 1 100 min most of the time. So mainly if I wanted to play tables I had to walk to flamingo or harrahs. Maybe they have opened up more tables now, but those first 5 days were disappointing. Moved to Venetian and had a much better experience there.

So I would would prefer Paris. Room not as good, but not a major drop off, and much closer to other places to play in case the tables are limited. When I was there also only 4 or 5 places to eat were open. Most were their most over priced places .

Caesars Palace. BTW there is an Octavius Premium Suite. I had it booked for August but cancelled that trip.
It's official name is Octavius Emperor's Suite.

If you do get that one, please take a video walk through of it.

My mistake it is the Octavius premium room. CP obviously the nicer choice, Paris seems more convenient for food choices, and lower minimum gambling options. Not to mention I’ve always loved the Paris. I’m just sad about the tiny sqft in The burgundy rooms.

For the record, I've always liked Paris. Stayed there in January in a Penthouse which was fantastic. When I stopped in the casino the day after it reopened it was filthy and the staff was surly.

Caesars was much much better. Actually so was Flamingo even.

I would stay at CP. You can only stay in one room, but you are not restricted to where you eat and gamble. Stay in the nicer place, gamble where you are luckiest.

If walking is not a problem then I would always pick my hotel based on how comfortable it is and not based on the casino as some mentioned. The beauty of CET is that you can gamble at any of their properties and many are near by so why not stay at the nicer property and gamble at the other property that has the casino you like. Either way good luck and keep us updated on your choice.

Comp? CP... If I was paying, I might weigh the price difference but would probably choose Paris.

Not certain if this is a concern of yours or not, but my husband and I stayed at CP last year and after one night we checked out and moved over to Paris. Cell service does not work in many areas of that casino. We completely lost each other inside of the place and we weren't the only ones pissed at zero cell service. So if you travel alone or your partner is always with you it wouldn't be a problem. I like to roam around when I play so it was a big problem for us.

I also love the real Paris France, so my heart belongs to Paris LV too.

I have had options of all CET properties comped for many years....have always chosen Paris....everything is so nice...so easy to navigate from room to casino & LV Blvd...not like Caesars....it is huge & a long walk anywhere....just have no interest in staying there ever...

I've never stayed at CP even though I can get comped there so I can't comment on the rooms. I've been in the casino many times and can never find my way around. Too convoluted and crowded.

On the other hand I find the casino at Paris to be poorly lit and "gloomy" as I've said before. But, I've never gotten lost in there.

CP for sure. Especially since Paris is kind of an
island right now. Caesars is just across the street from their other properties and Paris is a bit of a walk. The room is nicer anyway although a bit older I believe.

Caesars Palace is the flagship Vegas property for CET. Try it first now that you have the opportunity. Work your way down the property hierarchy if Caesars isn't for you.

I prefer Paris, easier access to a lot of what I like on that side of the strip. But given the current situation, I would go with CP for the experience.
