Does anyone else watch that Hotel/Vegas channel in the room?

I usually bring my laptop on trips to read the news, look up restaurants, watch Netflix, etc, but something I always, ALWAYS have on is that Vegas channel.

You all know the channel, some 30-something female that they throw in multiple hotels to feature gaming, restaurants, bars, etc.

It just sets me in the mood. Looking forward to watching it again, soon!

I have it on for "noise", but I don't actually watch it, except to hear what Mario Lopez is pimpin' this month.

We usually like to watch Wake up with the Wagners in the morning. I think they are on the NBC station. We will have to look for the casino station next time we are there.

I watch the hotel channel occasionally, since it's usually the default station that pops on when you turn on the set at some properties. I also have a habit of sleeping with the TV on, so when I wake up in the morning, it's on whatever channel that was on when I fell asleep. LOL Although, I often switch over to the local news to check the weather report, etc. before heading out for the day.

I sleep with the TV on, but what is actually on when I go to sleep varies.

Sometimes sports channels, and sometimes Morning Joe, and sometimes whatever random programme I have put on

Favourite hotel related channel was always the Wynn, and listening to Steve Wynn describing the resort never got old.

I do when I’m first there, gets me excited that I’m actually in Vegas and can engage in questionable behavior for a weekend.. and it’s behavior that’s encouraged.

In house channels drives me crazy. Which hotel doesn't matter. I've been watching KLAS, channel 8 as long as I can remember for morning and afternoon news.

Is this the channel that the TV has on when you first walk into your hotel room that advertises all the hotel amenities, casino games, and restaurants that loops every 15 to 20 minutes? There are actually other people out there watches this to get psyched up when arriving to Vegas? Well, guess what? I'm one of them lol. Didn't know that there could be others that actually paid attention to this channel also.

I used to watch the heck out of those videos for The Mirage, Treasure Island, and the Bellagio. To this day, I'm still trying to find a video of the Mirage introduction with the palm trees slowly being drawn out.

I liked the Mirage one too back in the day. I don’t like or watch the Caesars Palace one. Wynn had a great one when it first opened. I spent a very long time watching the Aria one once, too hungover to move. “Spend the entire day in the warm summer sun...”. No thanks.

I use the casino hotel TV as a night light. Time is too precious to spend sitting around the room.

I turn it on for background when in the room, particularly right after checking in while I get settled. Adds to the excitement of being back in Vegas for me (I'm probably weird that way :))

I remember getting a bit drunk one night and flipping through the channels. I must have passed out watching it. All I know is that I had the burning desire to play keno and hit the buffet when I woke up later.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen that channel. Just got home from a 4 night trip. Wiped down/sanitized the remote when I walked into my room, but never touched it again. Too busy gambling....

LOL at the Mario Lopez crack - I don’t think that’s an only-in-Vegas situation either; I swear I saw him being a living infomercial in an LA-area hotel too :haha:

MLife used to have a great one, I loved seeing this one right after getting into the room.

CET's are kind of scattershot, low quality and then there's Mario...EXTRA! I usually end up seeing theirs at the tail end of a trip when I'm burned out and the last thing I want is a slice of 100-layer cake.

I think they used to be corny, so bad they were funny, even funnier w the loop.
haven't actually seen them at that level lately..

Half passing out but unable to turn it off was a special sort of hell.
