I am not due to visit until September but have Vegas postponed the shows for now?

I am just wondering if they will postpone the shows for the entire year or what? I don’t wanna go Vegas and not enjoy some good shows.

As part of Phase 2 (current phase) no, no audiences means no shows. Some shows are accepting future reservations, but no official opening dates are available at this time. So please don't speculate.

When the Phase changes and entertainment with audiences is allowed, it'll be posted here.

The MLife page has a list of things that are opened and closed. Right now they are showing that shows are post poned until June 30th. So hopefully they are running by July, but it is not for sure until we know what Phase of opening things will be in. I'm hoping they will be back by July for our trip towards the end of July...but I'm not holding my breath.

The Luxor has dates available for Carrot Top starting July 1st. I know this could change at any time, but I am hoping the shows start back up soon! Got our tickets for Carrot Top at the end of August. :woohoo:

Yeah, we went through this with the ever changing booking calendars for the hotels. That date means nothing.

HoyaHeel is right that shows and concerts are not allowed in Phase Two. It will take the governor allowing the state of Nevada to go to Phase 3 before that can be considered. Right now the "ending date" of the Phase 2 order is June 30th, but as we saw with the hotels changing from April 15 to May 1 to May 15, to June 4, that date can keep being moved back until the criteria are met.

Well... that may have pushed off any potential trip for us a bit more.

Just went to LOVE ticket site. First show (for now) is August 4th.

Just checked the Luxor site, and Carrot top tickets aren't available until July 15th. Originally it was July 1st.

It's also going to vary a bit based on the show. A single-performer show like Carrot Top or Piff still requires crew, but it's much less labor-intensive than a big production show like the Cirque spectacles, which have dozens and dozens of cast and crew, and thus are more difficult to justify financially at reduced audience capacity. As Sonya indicated, we won't know until we know, and we don't know right now.

Hope they find a way to restart safely. I would go to Vegas anyway, being a degenerate low roller, but my wife demands shopping and shows.

Please remember that twitter accounts, even those of employees, are not reliable sources. That may be their target date, but until the governor allows Nevada to move to Phase 3, there are not going to be traditional shows.

Because the governor extended Phase 2 through the end of July, at a minimum. No shows for July.

I know this is not shows but I'm wondering about NFL and the new stadium. Our "planned" trip correlates with a Monday night Raider game -- wasn't planned just happened. I see the NFL is still pushing their schedule. I would imagine everything is in the air right now. I'm just hoping maybe some of the smaller not big production shows are open in September.

The NFL MIGHT still run on time because they obviously can exercise the option of "no fans allowed". It's really still too dynamic to say with any certainty.
