They should still be paying the same. You just have to be on the right machine at the right time as usual. I have read at my local casinos that a lot of jackpots are hitting after being closed for so long, so I assume thats happening in vegas too.

I doubt they have taken the time to change the chips.

Besides, you could make either of these arguments to get players back:

    A) Tighten them up because we need the money

    or

    B) Loosen them up so people feel food and keep playing and keep coming back

Good luck picking the right one.

I asked the slot manager at NYNY this question when they reopened this month and he said that they just turned them off, then back on, and that no changes were made.

If they've made no changes since my last visit, they should still be tight AF.

With regards to video poker at least, I haven't heard about major paytable changes.

I really don't think much has changed. I hit a handpay over at The D, but lost my ass (as usual) over at Caesars a few weeks ago, lol.

Don't listen to these people! They're lying to keep you away from Vegas. Jackpots are raining from the sky! Better hurry up and get to Vegas before the $$$ is all gone.

I didn't think Casinos could randomly change slot machine payout after the games are installed without notifying the Nevada Gaming Commission of the change's. Not really sure but I thought I read that somewhere a few years ago, could be wrong.

It doesn't matter if our local (The Meadows Pa.) was closed for a day, week or months their machines are always tight. Ever since Penn Gaming took over operations the casino went from so-so tight to not even worth trying tight. I went this past Wednesday mainly for the live harness races but decided to drop $200.00 in various machines, put it this way I should of went to the cashier handed them the $200 and walk out.

Maybe "beginner's luck" resets after a certain period of time away from the casino.
