    This is sad, so sad.

    https://vegasinc.lasvegassun.com/business/2020/jun/28/palomino-club-finds-ways-to-survive-amid-the-pande/

The brass over there had better reduce those $14 cocktails they raised from a respectable $12 this past year.

I'm still not quite registering how the social distancing thing is supposed to work within those hallowed walls. Is it a West Side Story type of line of lowlifes (me) on one side and bikini girls on the other?

Shit, I suppose I'll have to walk in there in a few weeks just to witness this complete and total disgrace.

To think, you can sit at the bar and NOBODY is going to cuddle up next to you and pretend they give a shit about our name, where you are from or what you do. Strange times indeed.

    Talk about low mileage dances....

I believe Chicas Bonita’s is closed.

Of all the impacts of COVID this seems to hurt the most. Really sad times we are living in. Maybe someday they’ll get a vaccine and these hard working college gals can get back to work as normal.

Chicas is open, but just as a bar. No dancers working.

    Oh man, sad days indeed.

I was told by someone that recently in town and fond of the Chicas that they where closed. I guess if it’s just a bar it’s as good as closed.

They need to promote and sponsor a bikini awning wash for marketing and health benefits!

I'm going to have to wait until phase 3 is in place, lol. Guess I won't be going to strip clubs until they allow lap dances.

But then with Hawaii's quarantine restrictions (need to covid test negative before flying back to Hawaii or face 14 day quarantine) I probably won't be going to vegas until September or October or later.

When i'm back in August I'll check on Palomino and Chicas. When I wast there in June the Mino was just opening as a bar only at end of my trip so didn't make it by. Since I'll go to jerry's at least one night quick walk over to see the scene.

Jeez thank God this wasn't going on in my heyday of going to my various strip club joints...

Well, we had lunch at Jerry's Nugget, but the Palomino Club didn't open until 4PM. Maybe tonight or tomorrow night.

While I am not a Covid denier like Arnold Snyder of LVA and Topless Vegas Online, I have to agree with him that allowing the bars to open, but requiring that there either be no dancers or if there are dancers they must remain fully clothed defies logic. I get that there 6 feet of distance is going to kill lap and private dances and perhaps even limit seating stageside, but not sure how seeing a naked body is more likely to transmit the virus.

Thinking of walking over one evening if I go to Jerry's, if so, I'll update the intel. If there is any kind of cover charge, forget it.
