found out yesterday, I cut my trip short and took a lyft to the airport.

got to Southwest and checked my bags in, turn to the left and signs and barricades that the "C" gates are under construction. no signs where to go though

so I ask this lady wiping down the self check-in kiosk and she says to the stairs down there. I start walking away from the closed gate and come to the escalators she pointed out as stairs and she probably done that because the escalator was broken (cant make that up) so a line formed for the elevator next to it, we crammed in and once to the top, a short walk over to the other TSA which was taking A,B,C and D gate passengers, so the line at noon on Saturday was quite long

so here is your heads up

It was closed early June also. Not crowded at all on a Tuesday about 10. Why would it be? But yeah, I can see this time being utilized for renovations and upgrades.
but he is correct. I am hoping the lack of a crowd and thus not a hinderance caused me to not mention it.

I left a lil early because uber/lyft is taking a lil extra time, so I was prepared time wise, it took about 30 minutes to get through the TSA line yesterday at noon

Wouldn't be Vegas without broken escalators. In a city filled with chance, it's one thing you can count on.

There is another escalator just around the corner from the elevator you took up. No TSA line at all this morning
