Downtown Live 6/27-7/3 (4Q and The D)

We had mixed feelings about taking this trip due to the current situation. I was viewing it as a coin flip and decided to go as planned when they announced mandatory face coverings. I'm not sure why this is a hot topic to be honest. I don't want people sneezing or coughing on me at any time and certainly not right now. So, on with the trip...

We will be checking in at Four Queens for the first 3 nights and then moving to the D. The plan is to take advantage of the 4Q's promo and the doubled offers from the D. I'm not sure we will have enough time to max out the promo for both but we'll give it a good effort. Our normal summer trip involves coupon runs all over Vegas and lasts for roughly 2 weeks. This one will be different for sure. We plan to eat at Hugo's twice and Andiamo twice so it's a good thing the airline doesn't charge by the pound on the way home.

I'll hopefully be updating with some good food pics and lots of big VP hands along with some general images regarding the current state of things.

Sounds like we are both going to try social distancing gambling. Hope it works out.
It way seem like I'm following you, but I swear that I booked 4Q's and the D before I knew your travel plans.

 

Will be following till arrive on the 30th. Doing Andiamo twice as well to use my comps. Hugo’s once from the slot app. I’ll be stationed at Vue Bar on the 1st.

 

I have also been on the fence about going. I leave in 30 days. The masks make it more likely for me to go. I'll decide in 29 days for sure.

Looking forward to hearing about your experience - I have a trip booked from 7/27 - 8/7 including six nights at QQQQ and planned playing time at D but looking to see how much the new mask requirements are enforced and followed (more enforcement/mask-wearing = more likely I’ll feel comfortable going ). Airplane was packed. Maybe one seat open but I think it got filled at the last minute. First loss of the trip is dollar rental outdoor kiosk for frequent renters not being open. This line might take two hours.

Yes, the masks helped in our decision not to cancel our planned trip, and we also will be gambling early and heading to the room before the night life starts up.

 

From the pics it looks like something is covering every other bill acceptor. I assume you are doing the slot tournament again? That wasn't part of the plan this time but I figured why not.
