just stating facts.. there are many sports fans who need their "fix"

and they say to hell with covid put the sports back on . they don't care who affects as long as they got a jersey to support with their team name on it.

I see it one way.. is it unsafe?? then close it down.
Is it safe and everything done with the pandemic? then yes open up non essential , it's just basic facts

sports are non essential period.

 

Comparing fans cheering for sports to romans cheering for blood and death in the colosseum isn't hyperbole???? If not, I would hate to see your definition of the word. And now you're comparing sports fans to drug addicts (unless you mean't something else by "fix"). I'm a pretty big sports fan, but I've never engaged in drug seeking behavior to watch a game. You're not stating any facts. Just opinions. Which is fine. I even agree with some of them. But tone it down. The kind of comparisons you're making aren't helping your cause at all

 

let's make this simple.. are sports "essential" ?? nope

is there a pandemic and wasting thousands of tests a week , when a sports leauge could say let's help our fanbase and give out tests .

that would be the protocol.

it's the few that say "i can't live without sports" , again sports are non essential and in the middle of a pandemic is a waste of resources and testing that would help thousands who can't afford it.

 

@Gus my friend we need sports to have something to get our minds relaxed , I respect your opinion , but let this rest as others are on this thread that have interest in the NBA , so I hope this will satisfy you. Thanks

 

Trevor Ariza will not go to Orlando with Blazers, but they will have Zach Collins and Josuf Nurkic 2 bigs that were out when they stopped , this is a great addition for Blazers, if both can compete. They were real good last season , before being hurt.

The NBA remains on schedule to restart its season in Orlando on July 31, with most players expected to arrive at Disney World in early July. Twenty-two of the league’s teams will play eight more regular season games, then move onto the playoffs.

He could be back for later rounds if the Lakers advance. As long as Lebron is rested, its not a huge loss. He will run the point full time now without Rondo or Bradley
