    My Trip Report

Vegas! I've missed you, my precious.

It's going to be a weird trip for me - not only because of the masks/social distancing/new normal. I usually stay for at least one week and bounce around all over town. This time I'm going to be in for a long weekend. Staying Downtown the whole time.

The Plan: It was perfect. Allegiant has a direct flight going out Thursday night and coming back Sunday afternoon. And I happen to have every other Friday off. (Side note: I forsee more quick weekend trips with this flight schedule, especially since my cousin and the two babies are moving to Vegas in July.)

I'll be staying at Four Queens. Plan on trying to max out Four Queens and Binion's FP promotions. Eating some good food. Drinking some good drinks. Watching whatever sports are on. Maybe slotting around a bit to check out how all the Downtown casinos are handling the current environment.

I'm constitutionally opposed to paying a baggage fee, so I'm packed in a small backpack. I thought for sure everything would never fit. But somehow I prevailed. And probably still bought too much stuff.

Unfortunately, the plan has already begun to unravel. As Vegas plans tend to - although usually it's for fun/alcohol related reasons. Flight was delayed 45 minutes. So I grabbed a few Trulys from the fridge to enjoy once I got to the airport. Sadly, on the way the flight was pushed back. And then pushed back again. Now 2.5 hours delayed - scheduled into Vegas at 2AM. Ugh. Good thing I asked my host at Four Queens to put a late check-in note on my reservation. Except, come to think of it, I never actually got a confirmation email from Four Queens. Eh, I only get them about 33% of the time. Hopefully it won't be a fiasco when I get to FQ at ~3AM.

Contraband Truly - I should have brought more.

Huzzah, this teensy tiny airport does have a bar. That's open until the last flight leaves. And Mike's Hard Lemonades are $5. Score! Best! Airport! Ever!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. It takes $32k coin-in on VP to max out each promo?

Have a great time, maybe all the bad luck is out of the way and the rest of the trip is winning!

At $8 a point yes. I think there’s a few games that are $16 a pony but stuff like FO JOB is $8 a point.

Ty, if you’ve got 4 days, 8k a day playing on one card at a time for the two of you should be doable. (4K per). If maxed switch to her / your card But doable. Good luck.

I'm thinking maybe $11k per day for 3 days for a higher daily average. That should be 2.5-3 hours per day. Kim will be playing slower since she likes the double-up feature.
    Probably do 4Q only.
