Seat next to me is in fact empty. Win for Alaska. Approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to paradise. Plane is a little more than 1/2 full given the number of people traveling together. [IMG]

I’m staying at NYNY in July. Interested in your experience there. Have fun!

I will definitely give you the insight that I have. I doubt I will actually stay there, but I'll definitely check out the room. I've always really enjoyed the casino floor and food options there. If you have specific questions, let me know and I'm happy to try to track them down.

Mid-flight update. Every passenger appears to be wearing their masks except when eating or drinking. Beverage service is limited. Water/coke/diet coke are the options on Alaska (no booze or food for purchase). They passed around a snack pack (savory mix - haven't opened it yet) but that is it. Bare bones but I actually feel safer on this aircraft than I've felt at my local grocery store (my county in Portland just made masks in public places a requirement yesterday).

Pro tip. Order your Uber or Lyft before you get on the tram to baggage claim. I made the mistake of waiting until baggage claim and it’s. 15 minute wait [emoji107]

Glad to see someone on here flying out of PDX on Alaska. We are set to take off on the 8th, after 3-4 flight changes already and were wondering if they were sticking to the social distancing on the smaller horizon flights since that is what we were moved to.

It was great! My seat was moved to accommodate spacing but I still had no one next to me in a 2x2 arrangement.

Also, going to try to grab at least a burger at In and Out Burger in the Linq promenade. The closest one to Portland is in Salem, so I don’t make it there very much, but do love their burgers. Can I charge that back to my room/use RC’s to pay?.....we were told that In & Out is not a CET restaurant so no, we could not charge to room or use RC's.... Good luck & have a great time!

Safety precautions but no amenity kit provided. [IMG]

And the view from the room - perfect for the fountain show [IMG]

I used the express check in. I was already booked in an Augustus king strip view and don’t care so much about the room when solo. It was easy and painless. No line at the diamond/seven star check in but the main line looked quite long.

I’ve already checked in at NYNY and have a mobile key (also very easy). I’ll let you know if that works!

Off to get players cards and head down to NYNY...

Got my ass handed to me playing at CP.

Mighty cash drained $600 quickly. Best bonus was $125.

Cleo 2 destroyed me. Had one good hit to bring me back, and then spent more than 2/3 getting to a paltry bonus.

Decided to move over to lightning link. Down to my last $100 then [IMG]
I’m back and +600 or so.

    Woohoo!!

Hiked it down to NYNY in 110 degree heat. I feel like I’m melting. The tram is not working, so no shortcuts [emoji107]

Visited my room at NYNY. Definitely won’t be spending any time here. Perfectly sufficient, but I can clearly hear every word my neighbors are saying (in normal voices) and that damn roller coaster is loud.

Apparently they’ve run out of the pouches to house the amenity kit. Mine came in a plastic mlife bag. [IMG]

Turned my $800 of FP into this playing Scarab though, so it was worth the hike. Add to that the dinners I’ll be having on resort credit and it’s worth it. [IMG]

Yes, dinner is in 90 minutes...but I haven’t eaten in almost 24 hours. So a pre-dinner snack was in order. [IMG]

After being there the hubs reminded me that we stayed there before I ran the Vegas 1/2 marathon eons ago. And even then we were up 1/2 the night due to noise. I had apparently blocked from my memory.
