Since the Aria is opening back up on July 1, 2020, I reached out to my Aria Host (call, text and email) to book a reservation and I get nothing but crickets. The email doesn't bounce back, but the voicemail message is standard--not personalized like it once was. Maybe he is furloughed and not returning once the Aria reopens? He wasn't a great communicator before COVID and has not responded to any of my texts since the casino closed. Does anyone have a suggestion as to an Aria Host that I could reach out to?

I’m sorry to hear I’m sure it can be frustrating experience when you don’t hear back promptly, did you just try to call their VIP services? Maybe they are not operational so even the host wants to book the trip he may not have access to “system” (?) but then he could have replied let you know at least.

just FYI, my local MGM host (MGM Detroit) contacted me back in May, he told me that Mgm was canceling their cell phone also be furloughed and he also said most host/marketing ppl even Vegas probably would be same situation as well (we talked about my annual summer trip to Vegas, he said I should probably wait till Hotels are open before i reach out, he talked about where request/messages can get lost; perhaps like your situation) so my “theory” is perhaps your host may not have access to any of messages.

In my email communication with my host at Mandalay/Delano this week he said they just got back to the property Monday. If Aria is the same way perhaps he just hasn’t caught up yet.

When I was at the MGM on Tuesday, I heard that a lot of the host level positions will be eliminated ( not returning from furlough), and that a lot of this work will be handled through a call center / VIP Services

Sure would be nice if MGM would let hosted clients know if their host was eliminated

Today I exchanged texts with my Mandalay host who is on furlough. Mandalay’s phone line said something to the effect that hosts world be available 6/25. My host, however, said she wasn’t back 6/25 but didn’t give a return date. She gave me another host’s name & email for any arrangements. I didn’t want to pry since she wasn’t very forthcoming with info. Can’t blame her.

My NYNY host just recently returned maybe a week after the reopening. Emails to her went into a black hole. She is always responsive so I don’t know where they went.

Has anyone heard from their host at the Aria? If so could you share their contact information? I called Aria VIP services yesterday and they advised to keep emailing my host -- (that doesn't respond)

a lot of the hosts will not be returning after the furlough. MGM Corp is using this period to thin the ranks of the hosts ( first hand info). I would keep trying, but if no response, there is a good chance that particular host may not be returning. MGM is trying to go with fewer hosts, and more reservations through VIP services, or using your corporate offer, and not needing a host for those reservations

Well, my unbelievable host at Aria is no longer. Not renewed amid this damn thing. Best host I have ever had by leaps and bounds and anyone on here that shared this host with me would agree. Such a shame.

Crap. If that is who I think it is she is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had.

NH was the best host. I spoke with her within the last week. She just made reservations for me for a trip in July.

Any idea how many Aria Hosts have been cut? Or how many remain?

CC@Aria reached out to me today. Has anyone had her before? Is she any good? Nicole always front loaded me.

Not a fan of CC at all. She is stingy with comps, never promptly responds to communications, and can be dsagreeable if you catch her in the wrong mood. She was the reason I didn't stay at Aria for a couple years (until I got a better host)

UKFanatic- That's what I was afraid of. UGH.

Anyone have SS or CL at Aria? I may ask for a new host.

    Thanks for any insight!
