That's good news! Never liked driving to DT since I would have to pay for parking if not staying at a Casino. I would just get a Deuce bus pass for that price. Are they even validating inside the parking structures of the open Casino's? Will be staying at the Binion's and parents at the Cal so wondering if we gotta ask at check in about validating my parking.

Is the D Grill back open yet? I heard the steakhouse, hot dog place, and the other restaurants in there are open. There is no reason for the D Grill to be closed if they do take outs. Also is the pizza place at the 4 queens open where the subway is?

Also is Triple 777 open? I will be in vegas staying at the D this sunday 28th to wednesday july 1.

    Noble Roman’s is open.
777 is closed, along with the rest of MSS.

Where is there a Noble Roman's?!? I used to love that when it was out here in Ohio, (love the breadsticks with cheese), and I was really bummed when the one in Casino Royale closed (it was always a trip tradition when I was staying at V/P). I didn't realize there was one DT, this is going to have to be added to the itinerary!

It’s at Four Queens in their mini food court. I doubt it’s as good as you remember. Frankly I’m not sure why anyone would choose this Noble Roman’s location when Chicago Brewing Company is on site.

Oh I'm sure it isn't nearly as good - the one in CR was pretty nasty frankly. Its really just the Breadsticks and cheesesauce that I'll get as a snack if its open late, it reminds me of my childhood. Thanks for the info!!!

When I was at D last week only Coney dog and coffee stand were open not Adiamos and cafe which I might add is run by Adiamos but yesterday on their page they showed Alexa Bliss eating a steak at Adiamos so one would assume it has opened.

I have a reservation for Andiamo's for Saturday night, so I certainly hope it's going to be open! I need me some espresso martini and tiramisu. And steak, I suppose.

I do not need reservations if I am going to order take out right? if the D Grill is not open by sunday when we arrive there, then I will have to get dinner at Andiamo's. I would like to order take out and bring up to the room without having to worry about reservations. I have 85 in food credit to burn at the D. I have 3 night stay. I do not want it to go to waste.

The only thing I have eaten in there (where the subway is going up the stairs) is pizza and the last 2 trips I have ordered pizza there, its really good.

I can’t imagine you’d need reservations to get takeout.

If I could impose on them for me, could you ask the MSS employees that you know, are MSS employees being asked to work at other Boyd properties? Can they? I'm going out the last week of July into August and I would like to see Oleg, Jose, and the lovely Crystal from the Boar's Head bar, working somewhere!

Change of direction here. I'm scheduled to visit, staying at the Cal the week of the July 12th. I'm starting to reconsider the trip based on the Covid spike in Nevada. Traveling alone I can manage distancing pretty effectively but I can't totally manage dumb behavior by others. I'm even more concerned that a strong spike someplace will have them closing places downtown that will make my stay suck. Anyone else having this dilemma? I'd only lose a couple of hundred bucks so the barrier to backing out is very low.

I'm having the exact same debate with myself. I'm supposed to head out the week before you. Since I'm working remote for my job and we are pretty slow with the shutdown, my plan was to work remotely a bit each morning from my room then enjoy Vegas the rest of the day for a few days. It isn't often I can get away with a mid-week trip to Vegas without using PTO!

But the recent spikes have me worried and like you I am concerned about shutdowns that could impact my enjoyment - or more extreme even my ability to get home as scheduled.

Last time I was in vegas was the last week of February, and although the full shutdown was still a few weeks away I remember playing craps with a very nice couple from Washington state. I was having a real hot roll and the wife hugged me after each point and the husband and I high-fived. At that time the news was starting to break about Covid-19 really hitting Seattle and the west coast and I spent the next couple weeks worrying I got it from them. Of course, I didn't, but knowing its everywhere can definitely affect your ability to just relax.

Additionally, although I've been wearing a mask everywhere in public anyway, the mandate that they have to be worn could get tiring. I'm not sure how I feel about a long craps or VP session trying to enjoy some drinks and constantly fiddling with a mask.

@rcbeamer One of the employees just got back to me. As far as they know, Jose, Oleg, and Crystal are not working anywhere at this time.
It really sucks for everyone. Customers and employees.

Call me crazy, but I really don't see the spike. https://covidtracking.com/data/state/nevada
I'm headed to the DTG on Friday July 3rd for the weekend. I know it won't be the same and wearing masks everywhere will be a chore, but I can't change any of it. I also don't think waiting does any good. Who knows how long it will last...everyone's guess is as good as the next. We will just make the best of it!
