The offer was Three nights, $400 FP and perhaps some FBC. (I didn't press him for the FBC because if I'm not serious I don't want to waste his and my time)

I have his contact information, so if mLife/Playstudios can't get their act together for HGS, maybe I'll have an alternate place to go . . . .

Anyone else get a call from Wynn?

All the time. I don't see them getting desperate as much as reaching out.

@DaiLun I still need to research your posts from over the years regarding your gaming activity with Wynn, so please forgive my questions. How does this offer compare to your usual quarterly Wynncore gaming offers? When was the last time you gave them any action? If it has been a really long time, what did your quarterly gaming offers used to look like? Have you been hosted there in the past? How does this new offer compare to your "welcome back" offer?

I personally have not heard from them yet by phone.

Your play history with Wynn in Vegas, neatly summarized. Is there any chance that your Macau action from last year factored into them reaching out? (Possibly not.) I also see that about 15 months ago, you wondered about how desperate Wynn might be getting for decent-sized players in the context of a not as good offer (compared to the current one) you were consistently receiving; and that you also stated that it had been several years since you had last played there.

As I've said before, it's been many, many years that I've stayed at Wynn, but I keep getting sent "come back" offers.

They hover at the same level for the last (gee, it's gotta be 6 or 7 years since I've stayed there). I remember that the last time I gave them any serious action was in NYE 2014/2015. As I recall, it was typical of my experience at Wynncore. I hit a hand pay for $2500 after I was down $3000. I have not had any significant luck at Wynn/Encore. The first comp I took there, I "exercised" my new marker privilege. The minimum marker account at Wynn is $5,000. My luck was SO BAD that I left a day early because I had exhausted my marker and didn't want to give them any more play.

    My offers are consistently at:

    Three nights (incl weekends)

    $300-$400 FP

Anything from "no food" to as much as "two buffets a day".

I told myself that the next time I take a comp offer at Wynn would be my last time, it would be the year that I low play/no play everyone. This is why I tell people when they ask, "you have to enjoy playing at a place to make it your home casino". V/P used to be a Place that I stayed away from like it was a plague center, then I started hitting hand pays and started building up my play. Then there was an incident where I didn't keep track of my marker lines and I apparently (I still say that I didn't, but it doesn't really matter because it's the casino's opinion that counts) took out a marker and didn't give them "adequate" play.

But, I digress. Anyway, those are the "come back" offers that I have gotten for the last 6-7 years.

So that is the typical "welcome back" offer.
I haven't got any offers from Wynn, except "$129/night weekday rate".

I wouldn't say it's typical. I think that it's based on my previous play. It's been the same offer for the last 6 years.

This is the first time in about 3 or 4 years that I've ever gotten a phone call. It's usually just email or snail mail. I keep waiting for the offers to get to the $500-600 range before I definitely decide.

    That's my definition of "desperate".

Doesn’t sound desperate if they haven’t upped the offer. Sounds more like they would rather have people who are willing to lose $5000 on slots than pay $129 for their rooms, which is perfectly sensible.

Yeah, but I thought that I would've dropped off their radar after 6 years. Oh well, we'll see . . .

Before the pandemic, I was receiving comp offers for 2-3 nights each quarter, but not a sound from Wynn/Encore since they reopened ...not one email promo of any kind.

My latest offer is not as enticing as pre-closure offers. Pre-closure: the last offer in March was for 3 comp nights (Sun.-Thur.) & $225 "Free Credit". Post reopening, I received an offer on 5/26 for 2 comp nights Sun.-Thur. & $100 resort credit good through Aug. 10th. (I stayed at Wynn for the first time last Fall. 4 nights free from Wynn Slots app). So I have almost no history there, but I did play slots & VP and dined there and used the spa (had a facial, IIRC) during my stay. I am a low roller, so I am happy to have gotten any offers from Wynn.
