Best Italian restaurant with kids in tow?

Ideally, I would like to do Carbone, but I'm not sure it would be appropriate for a 3 and 8yr old. Any suggestions on a high quality Italian/pasta joint where I would feel confortable bringing my kids?

 

I've always enjoyed Maggiano's at Fashion Show Mall.
I know it's a chain brand, but I like the food (especially family style with a large group) and I doubt you would have any issues with having your kids with you.

Buca I think is too much food. I'd like variety. I don't mind pricey as I initially would like to do Carbone. DaiLun...I'm guessing Giada's is not very kid friendly?

 

I think you understand the Vegas Italian scene. What we can't really help with is your comfort level with your kids in places that by the nature of your inquiry seems to indicate at least some pause for concern. Assess how the kids are going to perform and then match it to where it would work given where you would like to eat. ("Appropriate" is a near impossible thing to gauge and of course kids in Vegas is a hot-button item around here.) Again, you obviously know Vegas, you know your kids, you'll make it work well.

 

Battista's Hole In the Wall is kid friendly.

 

i like to say kids are no different than any other diner. if you go in and communicate at a reasonable noise level, ambulate like a reasonable person, eat basically everything offered, you are more than welcome and i look forward to sitting near you.

 

Last time I was at Casa di Amore, there were several families.
I have also been to Chicago Joe's with kids and it was perfectly appropriate.
You also probably can't go wrong at Giordano's or really almost any place that is pizza oriented.

None of these places are particularly fancy. I have not researched their covid statuses.

Probably most Italian restaurants off the strip would welcome families. If otherwise in doubt, call and ask if there is a kids' menu, and get a reservation before 6:30 pm. Not too many haters will be eating at that time.

 

If you are downtown,I like The Grotto in GN and it was kid friendly.

 

At the point of being ridiculed I agree with many of the choices if with just the 8 yr. old But with 2 young kids I might be inclined to go with some of the major chains ( I can't believe I said that). They might be much better equipped for that than many of those mentioned. Perhaps a phone call to the places you are really interested in??

IMHO, Giada's isn't that "stuffy" that they couldn't accommodate a couple of well-behaved children.

 

I think Rao’s would be perfectly fine - it’s nice but from my impression not really formal/“stuffy”, and my meal there was

 

Raos would be fine with kids.
