It has been reported that they are handing out freeplay to slot players wearing masks. I think it is a nice touch, even if it is only $20. Anyone on VMB scored (I am talking about FP )? https://news3lv.com/news/local/paris-las-vegas-gifts-mask-wearing-guests-with-free-play
LAS VEGAS – Wearing a mask inside a Caesars Entertainment casino? Someone from the company may tap you on the shoulder and slip you $20 to gamble. The operator of five reopened hotel-casinos on The Strip has launched the promotion to encourage guests to wear masks and prevent the spread of COVID-19. https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/news/2020/06/22/las-vegas-casinos-caesars-paying-wear-face-masks-covid-19/3238656001/
Had that happen to me years go. We had crossed a picket line to get into the 'Shoe and Jack Binion and a change attendant went up and down the rows of machines and gave every player a roll of coins of whatever the denomination that machine was. I got a roll of quarters to play VP.
Thanks for the link Joe – that's really interesting. However, I don't want anyone touching me, shoulder or elsewhere, and it's going to take a lot more than $20 to get me into the casino right now!
It must have been a nice surprise to recieve money just for being safe and trying to protect others also!
That helps both you and others around you. If everyone in this country wore a mask when they are within 6 feet of strangers, this outbreak would be a lot more controlled. I have a Vegas trip planned for the end of August. Not sure if I am going to take it or not. On one hand, there appears to be quite a bit of spread in Vegas right now, on the other ...man ... i miss Vegas.
At 2:33PM on Sunday June 21st two guys earing suits showed up while I was playing VP at Harrah's. The wanred to thank me for wearing a mask and using my players card. I got $20 free reel rewards. Funny thing is 1.5 hours later Google showed me an article about the new free play for wearing mask policy. Googles spying on what I access on my phone gave me a good news feed.
