Stinks. I would stop and have one or two outside of Ballys. Not the greatest beers, but nice to have options that aren’t macro brews.

Unfortunately, they had very mediocre beers. That proved to be their undoing in a town that is awash in good beer.

I am sorry but I think Las Vegas has the worst beer scene on the West Coast.

It's getting better year by year though. Sin City didn't keep up. I never was a fan of any of their beers. But I still occasionally had them, especially when Flamingo would comp them at the location they used to have with VP machines.

Joseph James also closed up shop this spring. A bigger loss, imo.

Sorry to see them go. I used to enjoy them when they had the location at Flamingo, and liked their Blonde. Enjoyed getting a couple beers there, and siting on their patio. But never liked it enough to seek out one of their other locations. Too many better options.

I only ever went to the one in The Venetian, with one of the servers (also a friend) from Grand Lux. The bartender on staff, Andrea, was pretty generous with the Jack in my Jack and Coke, and my friend really liked her Mimosas, so it made the bill a little easier to swallow.

For awhile, the outdoor bar at the Nugget would sell the Sin City Amber as a domestic, so a pint was $4. But yeah, their beer was OK at best. Certainly not as good as the smaller craft brewers; i.e., Banger and some of the other downtown brewers I'm going to try next month. Not even as good as most of the beers at Main Street Station.

But I'll give them credit for upping the beer game on the Strip.
