    My Trip Report

I’ve followed this board for more years than I can remember. This is the first post that I know of!

I Arrived yesterday (Wednesday). I had to wait about 15 minutes for the Lyft driver to arrive at the airport. The driver commented on the fact that a number of drivers have not returned to the gig yet.

Check in at Harrah’s went fine. They did some sort of temperature check before I used the self check in kiosk. I gambled a little on Wednesday. I ate at Tilted Kilt and Giordono’s for dinner (limited menu...no Italian beef!). I called it an early night.

I walked to Venetian this morning and ate breakfast at Grand Luxe Cafe. I took a Lyft downtown and gambled in most of the casinos (lost). I don’t understand the security process on the Fremont Street Experience. I never had to go through the “devices” as I just went from casino to casino.

I ate at Hattie B’s tonight at Cosmo. I won $500+ on some random slot at Harrah’s (not even by any means).

I’m currently at Carnaval Court. It was quiet when I got here at 9:00 but is picking up.

I’ve moved on to Jack and Diet from Coor’s light. Hopefully this post makes sense. Let me know if anyone has questions about what Vegas looks like in this pandemic.

Cool! Glad to hear the Carnaval Court is running. Are the bartenders doing there fancy stuff? No live music I assume. I've never been there and now that things are so different, I regret it! Have a great time!

Could you do a favor and go up to the Laurel Lounge (by Toby Keith's) at the top of the escaltor, and see if there is a sign outside the Lounge you could share a photo of with us. The Lounges are closed but there is supposed to be a sign outside the lounge letting people know where they can go instead to get free drinks and food. Someone took a photo of the sign at Caesars but no one has taken one of any other CET properties yet. Thanks!!!

Hope the trip has been fun.

Glad carnival court was open. Was there weds night and and saw thurs-sun open. Meh.

Harrahs has 3 games that I dont see elsewhere. Vegas 3 poker which is a 4 card variant of 3 card poker. Then my new favorite this week. DJ wild stud, a five card stud you vs the dealer with deuces and a joker as wild. The mrs and I cleaned up on it on Weds night. Very fun game, at least that night, well see the first time I lose.

In VP, Harrahs has the only double down stud poker machine in Nevada. You see it regularly in AC.
Did well on it too. 20200615_105609.jpg

Here’s a picture (hopefully) of the sign outside of Harrah’s Laurel Lounge.

Harrahs is always coming out with games that other casinos don't have. They are the experimental casino for new games in the Caesars family. I love that DJ Wild game, but the Vegas 3 poker, I didn't really care for.
