A yummy dinner last night, I didn't it came with a side of angel hair. What you didn't see was the lobster bisque, well,.... because I ate every last drop of that. I polished off the tiramisu as well.

so, this morning decided to do a little last minute gambling. Found out I forgot my phone in the room...doh. At The D, played a little White Lions hit for $100, Not bad, IMO from a $50 ticket.

4Q has a promo going where you can earn some free play. I managed to earn $40, whewwww....whewww....LOL. But, certainly can't let it go to waste. I think the promo is good for much of the summer

Hope the gambling is going well! I, too, am a walker, and love doing the downtown area south of Fremont. I go to the Arts area, and the "Vegas Strong" memorial to pay tribute.
Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Good morning from The Orleans. A fairly blah day yesterday. No wins to show. Gave up and went to the pool around 2:30. No problem finding a recliner. It was right out in the sun, but that's ok.
Grabbed a Baliwick burger and fries takeout for supper. And a pear?/pineapple? Cider in a to-go cup. That was sone good stuff, I mean the cider. Burger was just ok, but eating the leftovers for breakfast. I've found that since a couple friends and I have started our 'weight-loss challenge' that I just don't eat a full meal. So, one meal lasts me 2 days. The other times I just grab a snack I brought from home, which included protein bars, Turkey jerky and nuts. I've coupled that with walking in the mornings most mornings. Here this morning I just walked up and down the parking lot aisles as the security guy at the elevators said I'd be safe as long as I stayed on the grounds....ok then !!!
Maybe hit the pool later for some sunshine.

Oh, and I will say for those of you questioning. Ice machines have been available at both hotels. My room here does have the coffee maker.
However, had to call maintenance to unlock safe. Took about 15 minutes. And now will call again for a very slow draining sink

Saw more mask usage here than elsewhere. I would say the afternoon had about a 40-50% usage during the day. I kind of felt guilty for not wearing one. So, after pool time and down to Bailiwick I donned my mask. NOW, only about 25-30% usage. WTF??

Thought about hitting the strip for a change of pace, but who knows if I will actually go. FYI....the Orleans - strip shuttle is NOT running.

Also closed, can't remember if I mentioned, but Coast Liquors. I probably didn't need it anyway...lol.

The Orleans has a lot of their full pay VP machines back by the poker room, you might try the slots back there if VP isn't your thing. Good luck, and include pics of the Orleans casino if you can, curious to see what changes have been made

So, I've been kinda low-rolling most of the day, changing my bets as I see fit and depending on how the machine is cooperating. The above hit was made on a 50 cent bet, after changing my get anywhere between 50 cents and max. Most bets were at the 75 cent or 1.25 or so bet. Good things can happen when low rolling. :D

Amazing hit! I've never played this game. I watched a Vegas Low Roller video of him playing this. He seemed to feel it had a lot of promise but he never hit on it. I guess it does hit sometimes! Awesome, this is my low rolling dream lol.

If you want a break from the casino and you want to try something interesting for dinner, check out Merkato, an Ethiopian restaurant 1/2 block south on Arville. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. If the weather is nice, you can eat outside. I recommend the veg combo or zilzil.

My wife loves this game. Seeks it out in every place we go. Actually she’s won a couple of the majors on .50 and .75 cents. Great to see you had a good day.
