I'm only hearing about poker from Orleans, South Point and Venetian. Is that all that are open?

From Bravo, it looks like 5 people per table, which is one more than I thought was going to be the case. That's good news.

Interesting. For what it's worth, NV guidelines call for 4 people. On the one hand, it says, "Plans must limit the number of patrons based on game type." On the other hand, it says "For example, player limit per table should be limited to [...] four players per poker table" (emphasis added on both), so it's not necessarily binding. But I'd have to assume that the reopening plans were accepted. I'm curious to see how this plays out.

According to Bravo they have more than 50 tables open if numbers from Venetian, Orleans and Southpoint are combined.

Is Venetian (or any of the others listed) running tournaments short-handed like this, or only cash game?

Venetian room was open and busy. Looked like they were playing 5 handed when we walked by last night.

Venetian runs $100 5-handed Single Table Tournaments. According to their Twitter they had 21 of those on Friday.

South Point is doing them as well. Three price points, winner-take-all, $60 / $115 / $220. They run as soon as 5 people are paid and ready to go.

There's big demand for live poker showing right now on Bravo Poker.
A snapshot (Friday, approaching midnight), Venetian has 23 tables playing, and the Golden Nugget has 12 tables playing (out of 13), with 42 players on the waiting list for a game.
The Sahara will do well to tap into some of this action.

Hopefully they'll implement masks mandatory for all poker, and then they can resume 6-9 handed poker in shorter order.

I don't mind short handed play, but I know most players only like 9 handed.
