Cheesy 70s decor makes it look like Sam Rothstein’s house from “Casino”

That is God awful and if you are taking photos for a real estate listing, make sure a cushion isn't askew at the gaming table!

70's? My recollection of 70's kitchens were all avocado green, mustard yellow and orange. From the 70's I remember, this is a step up. It definitely was the decade of bad taste.

Reminds me of that movie when people went into a bunker for 20 years. I'm clostrophobic so no thanks. Did I miss pictures of the above ground house? Is it modern?

I'm not anti kitch, but this is a whole new scale.

Wasnt this for sale a couple of years ago for around 1 million?
At the time I thought it would make a great bed and breakfast at $500-$1000 a night and pay off the mortgage pretty fast.
    18 Million? No freakin Way

Quite a mixed bag. Parts of it are pretty great. Some of it looked like a funeral home. Some of the rooms are just ridiculously ugly.

I think it looks fabulous... yea, its got some outrageous decor but its got an amazing look. I couldn't live there because I couldn't go underground without medication- I felt claustrophobic just looking at some of the rooms.

Some of those rooms look more like 80s furniture from Goodwill.
Unless it's sitting on a gold mine I don't see where they came up with 17 million.
