Has anyone received email, mailers or app updates for their offers? My host gave them to me but they have not appeared elsewhere.

It's weird for me at least, I've only seen 2 new offers for July, one for an average dining credit and one for free play. Obviously the shows and that stuff won't come in, but the offers really don't seem any better than they were prior to the virus (somewhat frustratingly). Apparently CET is doing just fine without needing to bring back players with an extensive history.

Really curious to see what other people are getting (or not getting).

So far my CET offers have been only the generic room and free play which are a little worse than pre-shutdown. Maybe the CET soft opening brings in sufficient players for capacity. Fourth of July fireworks used to be a draw too, but I don’t see it advertised

I am waiting for a revival of the juicy mattress/free play offer.

They have had to open up additional casinos earlier then expected because of Pent up demand.
While they get there footing, they really do not need to pull us in.
We have all seen videos of packed casinos already.

Right now even those who are not financially sound are still going under the "I deserve it after the lock downs"
I expect October will be a different when everyone has gotten it out of the system and the reality of savings being gone sets in.

Same. They clearly don’t like that I’ve been on a Vegas hiatus for 3 years. I graduated with my masters in 2016, then turned right back around and began my PhD. It was an accelerated program and the dedication it took to complete the course work and dissertation in 2 years meant no vacations. After graduating, we opted for a cruise, which is more family friendly (13yo daughter went with us).

I had hoped to see at least a couple comp nights in my offers but the best they gave me was $26/nt at Rio. No thanks.

Venetian, on the other hand, gave me 3 nights (just pay resort fees) so they’ll get my love - and money - this trip.

I had one with $375 in free play and then a different one with a dining credit.

I have only gotten generic room and free play offers, and the free play offers and available dates have increased, but I'm in a very low tier of free play, and a lot of offers are only good in the future (like I got some that are for 4th quarter 2020 and January through June 2021. Only one I've gotten usable in July is generic 3 nights and free play or Visa gift card, and that one is lower amount than normal.

That said, I had an offer for the 4th of July VIP party at Caesars Palace with 3 nights room for the holiday weekend. Neither thay nor anything like it has come back, BUT those nights became comp on my regular calendar and they were not prior to that. I had already had the weekend booked at Caesars with paid friday and Saturday nights @ $149ea, with Thirsday and Sunday/Monday comped, then had rebooked for $99 fri/sat, and when I tried to rebook with that offer and it was gone, I was able to cancel my existing reservation and book all 5 nights free. Not sure if that is related or just coincidence.

I think that's because logistically we are not "post-virus" If you assume they have to improve offers for all people with you extensive history and better, they have to make sure they have the resources to handle that. Right now they don't have dates to open for a number of their properties, they don't have all restaurants open, and they aren't fully staffed. I'm not sure how your play relates to mine, but the improvement to my offers was a suite at the flamingo instead of a standard room.

That being said, I do think you will see improvements, especially if the impact of this virus is a decrease in convention traffic. Conventions are a big business in vegas and it basically forces people to come visit and spend money. If they dwindle or attendance drops, the gambler becomes important again. If major fesitvals and fights and clubs decrease or dwindle, the gambler becomes important again.

I think they (CET) is hopeful that those things ramp back up and they don't need to "pay" to get the gambler.

3 years is a log time to just expect comp nights again in the computer algorithm. I am pretty sure it has been discussed on here that the look back in that is 1 year. Ventian's may be different or given their need may just be their standards are lower. That being said, if CET is of interest to you I would suggest calling, on my father's last vegas trip (pre-covid) he had a nearly 5 year hiatus. He called CET and was given 5 comp nights. I think maybe they can look back further in person.

Somebody had mentioned this a few weeks ago, but I think I am seeing that the normal lag time between a trip and how your offers update may have increased (ie. slowed down).

I used to get the same offer every month.
Two offer codes that could be used for a year
    Each had $100 FP / $50 RC
    • I had a low-play trip in July of last year, but I already had a future reservation booked.
    • When I took that next trip, in January of this year, I played 10% above my usual ADT
    • I didn't really expect my offers to improve based on that, but they got worse.
    • The last two rounds of offers were only one code good for a 6 month period, and only $70 in FP and no RC
This is different behavior than I've seen in the past, where a normal trip would cure a low-play one within a few months.

So in my case, it feels like either my January high-play trip is not properly factoring in, or they have changed their algo, or I triggered something different in the algo. I did have a massive suite comped in January but [shrug] they gave it to me, and I think I played up to it theo-wise (although I did have a really low loss %). Maybe I'm getting dinged for not losing enough, I dunno.

I had some generic/marketing offers for July for free rooms, stay&play, etc...and booked a stay at Flamingo...Now, I noticed all the July offers for all CET properties are gone. With the probable opening of other CET venues, I'm hesitant to change/cancel the existing reservation at Flamingo for another property.

Chuck - I just checked again this morning and some more of those e-gift cards were posted that we got in June except this time for July. The difference? They're slightly less than half what was offered for June lol.

While I would normally understand this, my play on my early March trip was far higher than usual so if anything, and notwithstanding COVID, at a minimum I would expect the offers to be better. The only clear explanation is that CET thinks the re-opening demand is so good, there's not only no need to offer the same for habitual players, but smaller offers. I'm only speaking for myself here and rooms are comped everywhere for every day (which CP being 7 days a week is a bit new for me), however, those ancillary offers are just shit. I'm not enticed to get on a plane and fly to Vegas for a $60 electronic gift card and some free rooms lol.

Long and short, I agree, my March trip (which was a one day bender at Harrah's but did not stay in their hotel nor used any comps as I was staying elsewhere with friends) was clearly not reflected.

Yeah there's enough variables it's hard to say what's going on. A lot of people have said their offers got better, but not a lot of detail on their play levels or how often they go.

All I know is after 5 - 6 years of rock-solid reliable and predictable offer behavior, something changed for me. Maybe it'll change back, who knows. Throw-in amounts on my offers aren't really a determining factor for me, but reliability and predictability is.

Now, if I can get all of the stars to align on that trip, I'll also capture that damn elusive Unicow! I'd probably just quit Vegas if that happened. Who are we kidding, no I won't....

Is the mattress promo showing up in your app/online account or just the email? Did you get the Apple product giveaway yet for July? My host sent me an email but it’s not in my account yet nor did I get the formal email either.
