Thanks for posting this info! I haven't received a notice and we will be there Monday, so reservation is now booked!

We did however get notice that the food court is now open and smoking is now allowed inside the rotunda

    Received this overnight:

We’re excited to announce that Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort and Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel will open to the public at 6am on Thursday, May 28!

We will operate at 30% capacity, consistent with North Carolina and Tribal guidelines and operating with social distancing in place. Most restaurants are open with limited seating as well as carryout options. Other amenities will also open in phases as determined by the state and local guidelines. Among the enhanced health and safety protocols are more-frequent cleaning and sanitization, employee health checks are conducted daily, and employees are required to wear masks. Guests will undergo temperature checks before entering the casinos and are also required to wear masks. The casino gaming areas will temporarily be non-smoking.

When you're ready, know that our doors will be open. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Further updates on Caesars Entertainment’s response to COVID-19 can be found in the link below.

The link takes you to the global "When you're ready, we're here for you" page listing all of the CET properties that are opened or are opening soon.

I went last night. The 30% capacity will not be much of an issue. I asked when i checked with the security guy at the gate if they were close to capacity and his exact words were Hell No! Inside i didn't seem deserted and it didn't seem busy either. Only 2 of 6 machines in a band will be opened. A lot of table games are not running but the staples are there like roulette, BJ, etc...

It’s next month. I messaged them and they said they are offering it in July. That’s awesome for me. I’m in Vegas now for the 5X multiplier. And will be in Cherokee for theirs now. I will try and upload the screenshot they just sent. Ignore the time. I’m asking them as I’m in Vegas now.

Was there early today so it was light and not many tables open. Slots are not an issue unless you are super picky. Tables will be hard to come by with only 2 or 3 per table

Yeah, I'm gonna be there for about 4 hrs, hard out by 2pm. I assume the table minimums will be crazier than usual.

How was Ruth’s Chris? Mainly, could one sit at the bar and eat? I know they’re open with a limited capacity, but I usually eat at the bar.

Not a lot of tables open on Tuesday at 10am at Valley River. Craps was $25 minimum, too rich for me. Only half the machines were on, which was fine for the crowd.

I'm suppose to do a weekend in later July. I'm wondering how that will go. Stand in line for a machine? Only cold machines available?
