Because the world is still insane! Beau Rivage 6/11 - 6/14

I exacted some revenge last night back at Beau before sleepy time, walked downstairs here after McD's with $400 and in less than an hour cashed out this, then passed out at almost 4am again *yawn*

 

This lady won at Golden Nugget. Only winning I saw there. I helped finance it.

Took a quick hour detour to drop off rental car at the airport, came down to casino for a quick run before heading over to Palace in a few. I got a free spin bonus on my second spin on Dragon link that paid about $50 with a bonus in a bonus, then played a Lock It Link on a gut instinct and about $8 in to that, got the bonus, picked the link feature, and filled the whole screen. I'm pretty sure that's the first time I've filled a screen on lock it link. Unfortunately I was low rolling at 2c denomination but it still paid $170 total I think on a $1 spin, so woohoo!

Grabbing a snack at Snacks now in the Beau Rivage casino, then going to head over and check out Palace casino where I trust my coat wont come back smelling like a stale ashtray *cough cough* like Golden Nugget *cough*

 

Palace is really nice, especially in the covid times. Almost all their machines are on because nearly all of them are oriented 90 degrees off each other instead of in rows. I quickly got down about $250 then got some good bonus hits on dollar storm, buffalo revolution and a few others. Ended up leaving down by some change after about $800 coin in give or take. So that was fun. $500 in, left with $499 and change lol

Oh and we decided to duck in to Hard Rock just to see on the way home, so we just parked here at Hard Rock. Here's some Palace pics.

 

Lost some money at hard rock on high limit buffalo gold, which was far less volatile than the regular one, so I enjoyed it, but alas, a bonus eluded me. Then I went out of high limit and stick my voucher of shame in a regular penny version, and set a new record for worst buffalo bonus ever. My 8 free spins paid $0.60 on a $1.20 bet plus $1.20 for the triggering line hit for a grand total of $1.80 on a 2x bet. This is why the buffalo's name is Di#^head and not Buford like @luck.ofthe.draw claims. So I left down about $200 and change, but I got a 'free' Hard Rock Tshirt for tracking up 250 tier points. At a little pizza and ice cream joint across 90 from Hard Rock and Beau Rivage called Sal & Mookie's waiting on a pizza and some breadsticks. This is a nice casual outdoor patio seating environment. Indoors is closed but fortunately we have a nice breeze and a good internet signal

 

Eats! This pizza looks freaking awesome! Sooo greasy!

 

They still remove the bed spreads at the Beau? I used to put it on the corner first time in the room. With this new no service that makes even more sense.

Ahh good catch! No bed spread. And in the south this time of year there's no way in hell I'd use one, so I didnt even notice, until you just pointed it out, that there isn't one.

That's sausage, but you have a very good eye because the first thing I said after my first bite was "wow this tastes like beef with a slight aftertaste of fennel." I ordered the really nasty meat. @luck.ofthe.draw LOVES pork!

 

Oh my oh my. We just got back to our room and there is a pretty hefty line to get in the casino here at Beau. Not cool...not cool!

 

Just got a Buffalo Gold bonus with retriggers to 21 free spins, for a whopping bonus of ..... $7.90. Why do I still play this game?!?!?

 

Oh, and I just got a $90 line hit on Whales of Cash Deluxe on a 90 cent bet, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

On another note, drink service wasnt horrible, but it was horribly crowded, so we ended up going to the bar and buying our comp drinks with express comps. We had grasshoppers, grasshopper. I blame VMB for this. Side note, IGT legacy slots are an option here in the VP bar. That's so much more entertaining, even if costlier!

Had yet another epic slot run to end the night late last night. Was down somewhere close to $500 on the trip (and I lost over $700 between GN and Hard Rock, so ahead here at Beau overall the whole time), then played these two games winning over $400 between the two of them, and back to a total trip loss under $100. Now the real crazy thing is, on BOTH of these games, I did some backup spins and got additional bonus games, TWICE on the mighty cash, and walked away after the 3rd bonus of paid about $8. But between 5 total bonus games on these two machines it almost fully recovered my entire trip bankroll!
