Watched one episode on Sunday where Vanessa Marcil tried to get a germaphobe billionaire to gamble.
She had the dealer wear a mask and had special sanitized cards.
    The show was prescient!!!

There was another marathon yesterday. I recorded all of them and am having my own Marathon watch session today. The opening credits scene with the view of the strip just kills me every time. I'm so pathetic! LOL I NEED a trip!

Looks like plenty of Las Vegas on the horizon on E! beginning tomorrow. If you check IMDb you'll find the list of upcoming episodes.

Here's a couple of fun nuggets I've gleaned from my binge watching. In one show, Ed (James Caan) is making a commercial and the director tells him to do the role like Sonny from The Godfather—Ed looks the guy in the eye with a straight face and says he's never seen the movie.

In another one, Ed is supposedly doing some CIA stuff in Europe and Morocco. He goes to a safety deposit box where he finds a bunch of fake passports. The one he chooses has the name Alan Traherne on it—Traherne was the character Caan played in the John Wayne movie El Dorado. Finally, any Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul fans will recognize Giancarlo Esposito (plays Gustavo Fring) as one of Sam's whales who ends up dying in her arms.

YES! I caught the Godfather reference and cracked up. I did not know about Traherne. Great info!

And I have my DVR set up to record any and all episodes. LOL

So, another James Caan past movie reference. In Season 4, episode 14, Ed is basically held captive by his maid (Sandra Bernhard), reminiscent of the movie Misery where Kathy Bates worships Caan's character, a famous writer, and keeps him captive until he writes his next book.

Yes, but they were having fun with it, and why not? Ratings were obviously very high for four seasons and the show was cancelled only after Caan left in season five (Cox left as well) and was replaced by Tom Selleck. Selleck was his dull self and the show was abruptly pulled.

Jumping between Las Vegas reruns and whatever else. Problem is they are in the last season now with Tom Selleck. I'm a huge Selleck fan from Magnum to all the made for tv westerns he did. Unfortunately, the writing left the cast little to work with. In their defense, how many Vegas centric stories can you run with. I guess they could've had a show with Mike debating the value of random number generators. Or maybe Danny could suggest to Cooper that all JOB games be downgraded to 6/5. Delinda might grapple with whether to run prime rib or NY steak for the dinner special in Mystique. You see where I'm going. It was fun while it lasted though.

I was watching it too and all of the flip phones they use cracked me up. I love that show though.

Totally agree. They had burned through the best material during the first few seasons. Selleck seemingly wasted as the cowboy/owner. He seems to just stand around and comment on the other character's issues. But still more entertaining than most of the cop, fireman or medical shows which populate the airwaves these days.

I'd like to see re-runs of American Casino.

Totally agree on this one. AC was the only casino reality show that was decent. The one at the Nugget and Caesars were nothing short of jokes.

Just FYI for all Las Vegas show fans, starting on Thursday, June 25 the E network will be showing all 5 seasons, every episode in order. So get your DVRs ready, if you want to see them all!

Thanks! I've been watching and they went from Season 2 Episode 24 to Season 3 Episode 4!! It drove me crazy that they didn't show them in order.

I've really enjoyed seeing these episodes again. Not much thinking required and beautiful eye-candy. My kinda show!

    Really enjoying them.
What I don't like are the type of commercials being shown.
The networks show commercials that are based on the type of people they believe are watching their show.
Really affects my self esteem. :p
