August roll call

AUG 4 - 12.

Pushed two trips back (would've returned this morning from the first & decided to push my latter June effort to this one). Unless I'm jumped and severely beaten by a gang of angry youth, this trip will happen.

I could get jumped, actually. The youth is very angry missing their Proms & not being allowed to go bowling, n'shit.

8/4 - 8/8 @ El Cortez (Design A Suite)

8/8 - 8/12 @ Cosmopolitan (1BR Terrace)

I actually would've preferred a 1 BR Pent at Vdara or a Corner Suite at Aria, but I can't guarantee those properties will be open (I'm sure Vdara won't, anyway).

Came down to a Corner 1 BR at Trump or the 1 BR at Cosmo and I decided to give The Cozz one more shot due to location & the whole reefer smoking balcony option.

Six months in between trips. Hasn't happened since I was a little weasel college kid 25 years ago.

Completely unacceptable.

I may try a pineapple. but I'll need to be lit to the gills to drink 50 ounces of that...which shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish tonight, tomorrow and/or (probably) Sunday.

 

I've rearranged my visit to one sleepover at Paris, going to MAG, Walgreens, then crossing the street to Cosmopolitan. I want to do a smash and grab, better than nothing in my book. I am cashing in my one free night and doing the 2 nights with $50 pool credit. I told my friends they can show up, have the bed, and I will listen to weird podcasts and sleep on the couch or terrace if they wanna show. I gotta have a summertime Vegas trip on the books!

 

Aug 15-17

 

August 20-24 with my high school friends. One couple isn’t share they want to go with all this virus stuff but the 3 others and I plan to go, Getting in late late Thursday night, staying at Bally’s.

Aug 14th-18th (4 nights)
2 nights @ Aria in a Studio Panoramic Suite
2 nights @ Cosmo in a Terrace Fountain View

 

Finally final. If this doesn't happen then I'm not going. 4 nights, 8/10 - 8/14, all at Cosmo. I will probably only leave the resort 2 times: one for an Aria and NYNY visit, and another to leave for home. Can't wait!

 

If I don't cancel, we'll be at Cosmo on the 8th too; let's get a socially distanced drink.

I may not end up staying at Cosmo. I've triple booked the second half of this trip (Cosmo, Wynn & Mandalay).

If the Mandalay opens up by then, I would probably go with them because I found a rather obnoxious rate for a specific room type (in a good way).

I'd love to stumble down to Cosmo and buy a couple of rounds and meet, regardless.

 

Original June 5-9 trip is now 7/31 - 8/3. Hopefully it happens as I’m itching for Vegas.

We obviously could’ve gone for our original dates, but by the time we realized it was a go we had called it off and would not have been able to get the time off.

 

We're there with at least one kid (27) and a SIL and BIL from 8/6-8/11. Yea!

 

I just picked up a cheap flight for 15-16th.. Just a quick 36 hour trip

Bought a plane ticket for Aug 16-20. Might be solo, might be a girl’s trip.

 

Will be there Aug 28-31 staying at the Elco. Hopefully things open up more on Fremont since we were there for St Patty's Day this year and had to leave early with things being shut down.

 

August 20th-24th. Flying solo for this trip. Celebrating both my birthday and getting my pre-baby body back with hard work and self-discipline (FWIW,I don't recommend going hard-core on dieting during an international pandemic). It will be the first time I am staying away overnight from my kiddos, who are 3 and almost 2. Staying at Paris. Will be weird to be there by myself but also exhilarating.

 

Booked the Mirage (if it’s open) August 12-16 Of course subject to change if things get stupider than they are now.

 

30 August - 6 September at MGM Grand - Stay Well Executive Suite.

Guys golf trip (rescheduled from May) - Las Vegas Paiute Snow, Reflection Bay, Shadow Creek, and Wolf Creek.

 

I will be there July 30 - August 9, celebrating my birthday with my best friend Buffalo.
