More on topic: Glad to hear you made it there safely MCann! I've always wanted to get a firsthand look at the Beau Rivage, as I've been considering the gulf coast as a possible destination to snowbird in during the winters, and that's definitely one of the more appealing resorts in that region to spend a few days at from what I can tell. Eagerly following along, please do not be shy with the details especially of all the big wins!

Second spin on this machine won 4 minis in one spin. I should just spin each machine twice at max bet I guess. Lost $20 on another machine in between. Doubled my money so far (knock on wood)

 

Sorry, I've had no signal for most of the time in the casino. I'm waiting in line for Snacks now. @luck.ofthe.draw is gonna be sooooo pissed lol sorry girl hahaha! I brought down $340. I was down to my last hundred. Suffice it to say, now I'm not! And I'm getting a pizza or something.

The machines are about half of them disabled, and there are cute stickers all over the floor telling people where to stand. Chairs are also removed from the disabled machines, which is a little bit of a pain in the ass because people are grabbing them to sit by their respective honeys, and some of the working machines dint have chairs. So in that sense, selection is slightly limited but drink service has been awesome, and I'm having a great f*#kin time so far on the solo portion of my trip. Just got a lot better with what I *think* is my 2nd or 3rd best slot win ever, and the best part is I had no idea I won something good lol! More slot pics when I get settled in a place with signal.

 

Ice machine is working on my floor. It's less than a mile from my room. I think. Bought a $3 Coke for $5 though because the machine claims to give change in dollar coins. Tests have determined that was a lie. No change from my $5 bill. But it was still cheaper than downstairs at Snacks, and I think larger.

Free meatball sub with express comps (9.65 price) I earned here. And a $5 Coke.


The meatball sub is ... well there are balls in it, made of some sort of what I can be almost SURE is "meat." And it's on a sub roll. There's a wee tiny bit of a red sauce, and some Ameritalian type spices. Yep, checks all the boxes. It's a meatball sub. It's neither particularly good nor bad. It's pretty much what I expected, which is a drinking base I can eat 13 days after implant surgery. But dont sleep on my view of the beach and I-110 off ramp from the table!

 

Ok before I go back down stairs, I tried to post a bunch of slot wins in real time but no signal. So let me sum up my first session as, I went down with $340 and tip wad, came back with this (and that includes the comp meatball sub fella!)



And my biggest win was on ....lol... Sex & the City, which I played mostly to tease @luck.ofthe.draw - but then I won almost $100 on bonuses on 2 consecutive spins, decided to max bet it 10 times to see if I could hit something, and I got this bonus, which, again I dont have a f^#:#ing clue what goes on in that game, but I thought the text said I was winning $97.20 and even when I realized it was (2) zeros, I was like oh but this is pennies. And then... oh but 97,200 pennies is legit almost $1,000 lol and the icing on the cake is the line hits on the spin that triggered the bonus added another bit of good news, and I barely avoided a hand pay!
Ended up cashing out $1,109 and change after throwing a few more max bet backup spins at it.

 

This is what the hallways look like. It's 58 parsecs from my room to the ice machine (seriously I sweet talked them in to a corner room with the good southwest view, and vending is near the corner on the opposite end of the building).



Oh, and for anyone butthur.....err I mean curious about masks, they are strongly encouraged. Required in some areas but not in the casino in general. Most people are wearing them. Mr. Bungle would walk around without one.
