We had a host who we followed from sam's town to Boulder Station a few years ago, then he retired and we elected to go with a friend of his, who subsequently had his status reduced to part time, then was permanently let go in March when the casinos shut down.
We're Calif. residents, currently President status with Stations, and while not particularly anxious to return until hopefully this fall, are wondering, if someone will eventually reach out to us. It's hard (for me at least) to imagine many out of state players reaching/maintaining Chairman status (300,000+points) every six months. I would think that would trim their list of comp visitors by a lot. Maybe that's another strategy switch.
No one would ever confuse Boulder Station with one of Station's nicer properties, but we liked the local vibe, and (at one time) VP selection.

Further bad news, at least in my opinion, is the splitting of table games from slots/VP in the areas of status and comp categories.

I don’t have a bunch of answers....because the lady at the slot club just laughed and said “it’s terrible”. Lol.

My host didn’t have any better answers, other than to say - don’t worry about it, I got you.

Basically - there’s two comp banks now. Slots will be able to use self comping from your players card. Table comps will have to be generated by the floor.

What I couldn’t get out of the slot club is how tier status will change with table play. She claimed that the floor has the ability to change your card levels...???

There is no category for table play points on the kiosks anymore.

I would say it’s a mess at best.

Well, while I don't like the changes I'm more focused now on what is happening in Vegas, the re-opening at this historic time, health and safety, etc., I assume a lot of folks feel similarly, hence less of a focus on the changes Stations has made relative to Boyd's changes pre-pandemic and when there wasn't nearly as much going on.

This is what the casinos are betting on. Dont lose focus. Complain. I filled out a second complaint card, made my wife fill out one too, complaint cards are at every rewards center at Station.

Yeah, I hear you. Hopefully folks who don't like it will walk with their feet and Stations will feel it.

Probably a bit TMI but I made Chairman in less than a day in 2018. I was going to Palace Station to play bingo and in between one session I started playing Lightning Link. I lost a decent amount but then won and decided to skip the next bingo session. I was up and down and up and down and then began hitting, losing, hitting -- basically a LOT of churn -- with $5, $7.50, $12.50 and sometimes $25 bets. I even got the GRAND that night for a bit more than $14k. It was crazy. I ended up close to $20k and had a couple of DOZEN W2Gs. And yes, when I finished I had more than 300,000 tier credits or whatever Stations calls it. It was an amazing winning night -- I left to head back to home to Encore about 9 am the following morning/just kept hitting -- and it was great to earn Chairman in a day but I also thought about how much more in "benefits" I would have received if I had played similarly at my home base of Wynncore or at CET.

I really like Bingo but now I'll just take a few bucks with me to play VP or slots at Palace Station in between sessions verses what I used to do, which is to bring a decent portion of my bankroll for a given day to play slots or VP between 3 or 4 Bingo sessions. The points multipliers were great as I'd convert the points into free play or Bingo play.

I'm just one customer but I expect I will have gone from Chairman, to President, to whatever is below President in less than a year. I do get emails from a host periodically. If I do in the coming weeks I'll voice my opinion, nicely and directly.

I’ve asked at the reward desk of green valley and Red Rock about the change. Tried to be as nice as possible when I asked why the changed happened and why no notice was given. The answer I got in both cases was ... they didn’t know why and they only found out about the change the day before the casinos reopened.

Yep. That is Stations. The old Stations motto was WE LOVE LOCALS, but they left out "who lose".

The "new and improved" Stations used the most devastating event in the last number of years to stealthily make significant adverse changes to there slot club. Guess their new motto should be BEND OVER, IT WON'T HURT A BIT.
