Interesting that this is optional. Personally, I would remove the surcharge and tip my server extra to ensure the money goes to them and not the company itself.

Bellagio is like a prison playing craps. You have to wear a mask and they have plexiglass as well. Very uncomfortable. Luckily the first shooter made all the numbers so I made a bit of money before escaping. Would definitely not go back there under current situation. 20200605_073819.jpg

Have the table limits changed? Or remained the same?

It is much busier in vegas this afternoon. More tables opened and lots of people milling around the casino. Here are some random photos from this a 20200605_151520.jpg 20200605_155750.jpg 20200605_161249.jpg 20200605_160808.jpg m.

Yes, this - not to mention Lettuce Entertain You is a pretty big group that should be able to manage just fine without a surcharge. If a mom-and-pop place with inexpensive eats needs to charge more because of rising food costs, I’m fine with a surcharge; Mon Ami Gabi is decidedly not that in more than one way :nono:

The picture of the dining table and sectional looks like the Chelsea Penthouse Suite I have stayed in. The bedroom looked different, bigger than what I had, but I had a two bedroom. Picture of the fountains look way up there. I would guess penthouse.

Mon Ami also has a VERY limited breakfast. No quiche or crepes in the morning which are both my favorites. Check their website for their menu.

I had them take off the fee. Waitress looked at me like I was crazy but did it.

For anyone who doesnt have a car, Uber and taxis are spotty at best. There was very limited availability at most places and often no taxis at all in the queue. For example we waiting for 20 minutes at the cosmo for a taxi. The golden nugget didn't have any. Caesars had some but it depended on the time of the day.

Uber was often a 10 minute wait where someone was finishing up another ride. And the pickup locations were different. For example the main loop at caesars wasnt allowed so you had to go to some odd spot on the Colosseum parking garage.

Personally I have no problem paying $4 on every $100 tab to have less tables for distancing, masks on staff and more stringent disinfecting of surfaces. As an essential service I have been working the whole time so now that things are opening where I live I have been very generous on my tipping for everyone that hasn't been able tow work the last few months. My hairdresser thought I made an error when I gave her a $65 tip on my $35 haircut but I explained I want to help everyone get back on their feet since I was fortunate to have had steady income.

One more note, if anyone goes.

The sky jump at The STRAT opened at 2pm on Friday. We were the second ones to go through. All the little stores in that section of the strat are closed though.

I took this photo of people taking a photo of Caesars opening and then was interviewed by the newspaper. Now all I can think was that Wayne Newton was 2 feet away and I missed him because the news guy talked to us in the opposite direction.
