Yes that is bacon. And the sauce is sweet, so it may be the same. Tasty!

You'd think those cliched tats would keep people 6 feet at bay on their own. And oh shit, just realized I recognize that purple shirt.

I dropped three hundys at craps at the Cal. $10 minimum. Double odds, since 1975.

Craps at El Cortez was abysmal. I dropped 11 hundys at their table. They had two tables open. $10 minimum with 10x odds.

At the King’s Bar inside Four Queens now, licking my wounds.

    FSE is lively tonight.

 If you're going to go on and knock out every denomination of 4oak, why don't you do it at 4Q in a few hours tomorrow..
:poke:and don't forget we want two more suits of Royals, too. ;)

I got carded coming back from El Cortez. @bubbakitty used his BConnected card to get in FSE.

We asked. If accompanied by an adult. Funny thing is a person can go down the street and enter Fremont casino and walk out on the Fremont street through the exit doors by passing the security. :)
    Not real rocket science.

Hi, friends. Did you miss me? Today was field trip day. I got my permission slip signed well in advance, I promise.

I have been to Vegas around 60 times and not once did I visit Valley of Fire State Park. So today, I drove over there (about a 65 minute drive) and got to my first trailhead around noon. It was perfect weather for some hiking in southern Nevada today; that's a rare thing to be able to say in June. Today's high temperature was only 90 degrees, and it was almost ten degrees cooler than that when I started at noon. Wind was constant, with some gusts up to 30 mph. I stayed for just over four hours.

I did three short hikes: Fire Wave, White Domes, and Rainbow Vista. I enjoyed all three. These are mostly sandy trails, so be prepared to shake sand out of your shoes and socks after each hike.

Here are a few photos from my time at VoF:

The colors in the rock were pretty neat.

I'm not certain, but I want to believe that's a trail made by a lizard. I saw several lizards on the trails today.

It is 7:09pm in Vegas and I haven't gambled yet today. I guess I better go change that. I'll provide more updates if anything interesting happens.
