Thanks Sonya for all the pictures - I actually love those shields between the machines at CC vs turning machines off. Of course I still won't be able to get past the blasted clown out front that freaks me out though (NIGHTMARES!!!).....so hopefully some other casinos follow suit when they want to increase their active machine capacity at some point.

Hmm. A few observations from this, the Titter posts, and a few others: There is not as many people wearing masks as I would have thought and not much social distancing. And I thought kids were not allowed on Fremont Street???

Thank you for this thread! I appreciate all you do.

Wow, I have not been that excited over a tool since I married my first husband. Wonder if this will get used less and less as time goes on too. For now, I am diggin' it!!

If you're a six-max no limit holdem player, this pandemic is your time to shine. Your time to rack em up.

I hope it's the wild West again pretty soon.

None of what I saw is appealing to me.

Sorry, those have been gone for a while also.
Think the beers are $2-3 each now.

FSE clearly had signs saying 21 and over on Thursday am for the opening, but I saw lots of kids in the pics. Does that not apply to hotel guests? Or did they just not enforce it? Was it just for Wed night?

I knew the social distancing was going to be a problem, but the shortage of mask use is a disappointment. They had all these plans including the 'strongly encouraged' verbiage and I see very few masks, which are the best tool we have in an indoor, crowded scenario. That CDC study on the outbreak at choir practice here in WA clearly concluded that most of the participants would not have gotten the virus if masks were worn. Oh well.

After all the pictures here and elsewhere on news sites, I'm vaccine or bust at this point.

Just gives me more time to build up my myvegas gold coin/loyalty point balance. I'll have enough for the Grand Canyon helicopter ride if it ever comes back at 3 million.

Seems like everyone and their dog has been anxious to get back to Vegas.

This tweet with a video of Cosmopolitan last night is being heavily shared around Twitter.

No distancing, no masks, lookie-loos at the tables. Crowd isn't huge, but big enough. It looks like a normal night in Vegas during a less busy time of the year.

Well that certainly answers several questions.
