Not a CET person, so that's my excuse for ignorance. I know what a Diamond lounge is, but have never heard of a Laurel lounge. Is it like a Yanni lounge? Seriously, I've never heard that term before. Thanks.

Agree. Caesars isn't unaware that they are cutting perks of their mid rollers. They know this and have the option to compromise and meet us in the middle with just drink service. Or they can pretend that they are doing us a favor and say their priority is safety which is an excuse since they are opening other restaurants and can apply the same safety measures in Laurel Lounges.

I really hope they get around to opening the Laurel Lounges and at best serve us prepackaged foods as other Casinos on the strip are mentioning.

I know my two closest tribal casinos in Michigan have stated they will have their self-service fountain drink stations turned off when they reopen next week.

CET Lake Tahoe has its Laurel Lounges closed, but will let eligible players get drink vouchers from kiosks and then go to the bar (or Starbucks). See below.

Each day I can get $48 in booze plus $10 in food. About the right ratio of casino expenses when I am not with my wife.

For those wondering they are doing a $10 food credit per day for 7 stars and 4 drinks at the bars just show your card. At least that’s what they said at the TR desk I haven’t tried yet.

Diamond Plus (and Diamond?) get 4 drinks, no food credit. At least that is what my email states. (I guess I could stand to lose a few pounds. :p)

a lot of bars are unaware so make sure they don’t try and charge your points. It’s happened twice already to me.

The Diamond/Laurel lounges are a big perk for the AC players. It’s pretty common knowledge that the AC lounges have the best food spread.

Very curious what they are going to do when AC hopefully opens around July 4th.

No food or drink on the floor in Indiana period until further notice. Mandated by the state gaming commission.

I'm going to offer a dissenting opinion on this. The food is not much, but it's sort of a meal if you need it to be. I was solo at Caesars Palace Las Vegas christmas night, and was going to just use reward credits for Bacchanal or nice restaurant on property, but turned out they doubled the price of the buffet and most dining with special gimmick menu items, so it was nice to be able to sit alone in the lounge and have some lukewarm overcooked pasta and a salad for free in protest. I think that's worth something :feedme:

I really thought I would use the Laurel Lounge since achieving the status but I just don’t sit around drinking without doing some gambling. I may spend some time sitting around watching TV during football season but my schedule last year didn’t have me in Vegas too often on Sundays.

When I made Diamond Plus I was in Laughlin and went to their Laurel Lounge. It was pretty disgusting. The ones in Vegas seem to be much nicer.

I could live without the Laurel lounges if I have too until this Covid stiff gets sorted out.

I agree. We often make it a meal in the lounge. We rarely do big fancy meals, especially in Vegas. Even when free - another $40 in tips is crazy. LOL!

Actually the Caesars' Lounge in AC went down hill. It used to be better with more selections. Bally's is better and wondering if there will be any lounge in what's left there. Harrah's is also decent.
As I stated in another post the Seven Stars lounges in AC (Harrah's and AC) have menus. Though the portions are small you can order anything you want. In the past they allowed the 7* member 3 guests now it's only one unless you attained 500,000 or more tier points. I understand why they had to do that. The lines were long at it was crowded most of the time. Plus it's not open Monday through Thursday most of the year.

When I go to Vegas I don't go to eat in lounges. I like to take advantage of the good restaurants and good shows. I live in NYC and really don't need to go to Vegas to eat at top restaurants or see great shows. In the casinos I can get $100 plus meals for free (I have lot of rewards points). Unfortunately, when I'm home I dont' get anything comped, so free is good.

Does that mean Diamond only does not receive any free drinks?
