    My Trip Report

I spent 18 days in Las Vegas in December. It took me five months to finish this TR. Partly because lazy, mostly because very lazy.

    Hotels featured:

    Paris
    Park MGM
    The D
    El Cortez
    Downtown Grand
    Fremont
    Encore
    Treasure Island
    Linq
    Apache

There is a lot of degenerate gambling. The big three are Cleopatra Keno, Double Double Bonus video poker and various Buffalo games. Zero table games.

I played in every Strip and Downtown casino and a couple off Strip.

I don't drink in Vegas, there are no fun party stories. There are a LOT of trips to Dunkin Donuts.

I saw Ka, Mystere, Le Reve, Wayne Newton and had quite a few trips to various spas.

As mentioned in the title, this report is 16,644 words long so if long reports are not your thing, this one is not for you.

I go all the way back to the halcyon days of LVA. I still miss the east coast folks from there.

Another instant classic. It's been a while since you wrote one of these. Thanks for writing it up! Needed a little break.

Thanks for the TR- very fun read  During my last trip I thought I had lost my ID (dropped on floor near machine I was playing, took half an hour to find), had an Uber almost drive off with my phone inside of it (cue scene of my Chris Farley-sized behind *booking it* to flag the car :goofy::cry::haha:), forgot my entire backpack at a machine (thanks to a friendly cocktail server and a not-entirely-amused security person it was back in my hands in relatively short order), an EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLAR TICKET that got folded up funny in my wallet and took forever for me to find as a result :cuss::kill: *and* my insurance card (actually did lose that, oops :goofy:), so I was feeling those moments of misplacing/forgetting things ;)

I stole that idea from a poster named Kodidog. If not for her, who knows how great my losses would be?

Hahah. It really could go that way for me as well. That's why I always make sure to have a smoking room at the end so I don't have to go into the casino.

    Great reports!
I said reports because you have 18 reports there, not just one.
18 days! I envy your energy and your bankroll.
My bankroll definitely can't survive 18 days in Vegas.

It was a great read (as all your reports are)... and the timing couldn't be better - such an enjoyable diversion during this crazy time in our world. You made the most out of each day -- you must be exhausted once you get home! I can't wait till you go again!

Thanks for the kind words Nancy. I am scheduled to leave in 60 days! I will keep wording it like that until the week of, when I will be more sure about my plans.

I was only disappointed by one thing....that your wonderful trip report ended. I'm looking forward to our December Vegas trip this year, as it's our favorite time to visit Vegas. It's been way too long. Cheers!
