    A few options:

    1) hubs brings in Carl's "H"unior (Junior) steak Breakfast burritos

    2) Our go-to used to be gorgonzola fries and blue cheese wedge salads at a local airport restaurant. But, they consistently do something irritating every other trip, so not worth the $50+ tab.

    3) our new go to is Pot Bellied Pig sandwiches at the airport. Healthy, yummy, quick, I LOVE their chicken mediterranean sub, it's solid for fast food!

All in all, it depends on when we are flying, and what sounds good. My MO is that, since we're going to spend a bunch in Vegas, keep the pre-Vegas meal light/affordable!

I eat very light the day before because I know I'll have breakfast at the Pensacola airport and lunch, about two hours later, out of sheer boredom, at the Atlanta airport. After that its muchies on the plane and then a two week food orgy in Vegas. :feedme::feedme::feedme:

Nothing in particular, but I do try to avoid anything overly spicy or hearty pre-flight. Don’t want to have the tummy rumbling the whole time.

If it is a morning flight. I have a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit from Chick-Fil-A. My wife gets a breakfast taco from Pappasito. Both are located on the concourse at Hobby Airport (HOU).

Afternoon and evening flights usually find us a Pappadeaux (again at HOU). Seafood of some kind and drinks.

Maybe a Suja Uber Greens drink or something very light.

I consider the airport meal as part of the Vegas trip, and that's usually something indulgent or trashy, or both!

Usually take out to avoid having to clean up a mess. The Saturday before my usual Sunday departure is last minute errands, doing my nails and then packing.

That should be happening today, as I was supposed to be leaving tomorrow :(

I think what has become a tradition is me running through the airport with minutes to spare picking up whatever I can get fast before jumping on the plane!

As long as I can remember we split a 4 piece from Raising Cane’s at the airport. The wife doesn’t like their fries so she gets the coleslaw while the fries are all mine.

Mo's for chowder is also my pick at PDX for afternoon flights, but I've never tried the shrimp/coleslaw salad. Love shrimp. Love coleslaw. Gotta remember that!

Yeah, Mo's is a good place. The coleslaw is already in containers in the cooler at the end of the counter. It's nothing special, but nice addon, still comes out under $10.

I usually catch the last flight out of CLT and head to the airport straight from work. I always stop at Hooters on the way for drinks and wings before heading on down to the airport.

Usually someplace sit-down on the way to MSP.
    Fuddruckers, Famous Dave's, etc.
Enough to get us through until arrival at our Vegas accommodations.

Green chile chicken enchiladas if flying out in the afternoon. With rice and beans. And corn tortillas and lots of water to hydrate.
Evening flights is usually a whataburger meal (our town doesn’t have one) which we used to eat in the restaurant before 19’as we once ate in the car on the way and the odors teased us all the way home after we returned. So no more of that.
If morning flight it’s Kirby lane cafe. They open at 6 and are pretty quick. Gingerbread pancakes with coffee and plenty of water.
Wow. Suddenly I’m missing LOTs of stuff. :feedme:

I swear I either have a super early flight or it’s like evening but not quite dinner time (at least when I want to eat) so if it’s super early. It’s just coffee. I’m not really a breakfast person and don’t normally eat breakfast.
If our flight leaves at like 6 or 7 we tend to just get dinner somewhere at the airport, and so we can have a couple drinks lol but I normally get a salad because I dont Like to eat heavy before flying

I also Try to clean out the fridge and get rid of leftovers the week before we leave

Nothing. The less I eat that day means more room in my belly for Le Thai.
