Lol we can socially distance with you in the backseat, I finally got a new car so at least the new car smell is still there before the drive through the backwoods of VA.

Mountaineer is pretty much the only casino going to be open anywhere close to me but I would definitely wait a while before considering making the trip up there. All the local casinos seem way too busy upon their first reopening and I like playing the slots I want, when I want to.

I find it interesting that the governor is allowed to own a resort/casino. One could see a potential conflict of interest there. I had actually never heard of Greenbriar before. But looking at their website, you have to be a hotel guest and they have a ridiculous dress code to even be on the casino floor, so no wonder nobody ever talks about it lol.

Haven't been to Charles Town in quite some time. I'm tempted to go just to satisfy my curiosity as to what the minimums will be like. For those who have been relatively recently, what have the mins been? Like $10 for craps and $15 for blackjack? I cant even harbor a guess as to when MGMNH, the casino closest to me, will re open.

Great news Wheeling Island is 45 minutes from home and knowing The Meadows hasn't announced anything yet i can use a casino respite right about now.

I visited Mountaineer today, my first time there in 10 years. Opens at 10 am for now. About 700 people in line on day 2. Mix of all ages, maybe slightly more % were seniors. I'd say maybe 1 out of 12 people wearing masks. Masks were mandatory only at tables. Roulette and craps open, but I think they said no 3 card or 4 card. Waitresses there but I noticed self-serve beverage was down. Deli was open. I think they only had 2 ATMs working. $15 mins on blackjack and roulette. I think 15 on craps.

Typically this place has a $10 min on craps. However, it has been $25 min since opening. I believe one table only, too..

They took a page out of MGM and Baltimore Horseshoe , which is to fleece them quick! Traffic will drop significantly once MD casinos open up again..
